Only way I will get one is to use my season ticket holder discount on sunday... if I do pony up the extra cash, I might get a Durie... otherwise just a blank.

For anyone that wasn't at the game last night or missed it:
Didn't take a close look at the jerseys last night at the stadium, noticed the sloppy nameplate on Argoshop, assumed it was a quick mockup, I actually like the Jersey and always customize mine but won't bother with this one if that's the way it looks, especially at the bloated price.
These are the type of details that this team should be paying close attention to, these jerseys obviously represent the organization and should look as such!!
not a fan of the jerseys...i wouldnt mind it if that big A on the front of the wasnt there, but large logos like that dont look good on football jerseys...
Exactly what matchuk said!
Might buy one in Value Village for $10 in a few years.
The average authentic replica sports jersey, costs under $10 to manufacture in Taiwan and like countries. The stitching, (name and number), costs about double that if done in Canada. All in, that jerseys actually costs $30 MAX to produce. That's $200 profit.
We all complain about marketing and merchandise availablility. How can we expect to see Argonaut paraphanalia when it costs almost 3 times the price of a $79.99 NFL jersey? SMH
Plus it looks like a steaming pile of shite.
Just saw the Riders one, hahaha. CRAAAAP!! But Rider fans would buy a tee shirt that had green puke tossed over it. It doesn't even matter what colour of green. Bad Mexican salsa verde yacked over a white tee and Rider fans would wear it.
I am still getting one despite what you all think. I like the logo on the front as it showcases the team before the player. Also didn't the argos have a helmet logo that was just the A as well? Also if I ever got it done up, would it look better with the dark blue numbers and letters from the normal white jersey? I have also noticed that the jersey used in the Breakfast television clip didn't have a name plate on the back, so I am hoping it is optional, as the jersey looks 100 time better without it.

It would look better with glitter numbers.
I just saw this:

Wow, that is brutal. For the price of the jersey how is that detail overlooked? Even if I liked the jersey I wouldn't purchase it looking like that. Though, I have to say the final product does look a lot better than the teaser pictures.

I have to say I'm surprised by how little love there is on here for this new uni. I think most elements of it are very sharp, and it is by far the best alt they have come up with. Last year's were disappointing in that they did not completely replicate the 1980-88 jerseys, despite coming close -- the logo was in the wrong place. Two of the three before that (the 1950s and 1970s versions) were absolutely abysmal, and the 1960s look was OK but missed the mark in a number of ways.
To me, the Signature look scores highly on virtually every aspect. The only real misses are the socks striping and the lack of consistent font -- it appears there are three fonts: one for the numbers, one for "Pull Together" and one for "Toronto." I would have preferred a light blue facebar but the helmet is nice even with the dark bar. The pants look very cool.
However, as I said above, the ones for sale in the store and online need to be altered to have the nameplate cut inside the dark blue piping. Otherwise it makes the jersey look like a piece of junk. I sincerely hope someone from the team is monitoring this forum and gets that change made, because for a few of us that nameplate is a complete deal breaker.
I'm not crazy for the jersey but I will say it looks much better along with the helmet and pants. On its own, not so much. I actually prefer the the 60's white retro compared to this one.
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
I'd be very pissed if I dropped big bucks on that jersey and had a name put on the back and it looked like that Ray jersey.
