Zelkovich always has a "but" when dealing with our numbers.
Also propping the NBA, meanwhile what about the NHL numbers being down all year long?

I find him to be very fair across the board. He's mentioned numerous times that the NHL ratings are down. He's been brutally honest about TFC and even qualifies the Raptors ratings:
"the Toronto Raptors are watching theirs rise. They aren't exactly in the big leagues of Canadian TV ratings yet, but things are definitely looking up for the Raptors."
There was a tweet somewhere on the SRC that had the Carabins/Bison game at 300,000 .... that doesn't include the sportsnet numbers. Not bad for limited marketing.
It will be interesting to see the numbers for the Vanier as well this weekend.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
I have to concur with those who say that the SRC coverage was superior to that on Sportsnet 360. Keep in mind that SRC covers the Q regularly throughout the season and so is better able to comment on the players and have better camera angles at times.
One would think that the two big radio sports stations 590 & 1050 would look at the TV viewer numbers once and a while and think the CFL should have more coverage on their talk shows. I concede the Leafs will always be #1 on Sports Net but after that it is always the Raptors and NFL football. Blair on 590 does a lot of Blue Jay coverage seemingly year round, but again very little CFL on Sports Net. TSN 1050 is Leafs , NFL, Raptors and a token bit of CFL. I admit I listen to Leaf stuff and don't mind keeping up on the Blue Jays if it is news worthy, but when they pushing the Raptors and NFL I'm gone about as fast as I can hit another station button. But hey that's just me, I'm just one of the million who watch the CFL and apparently don't want to hear anything about it all week. We're suppose to listen to Raptor blah blah for the sake of the 100,000 who follow them.
Listen Prime Time Sports - November 25th - 5pm
November 25th, 5 pm: Nick Kypreos and Mark Cohon join Bob McCown and Elliotte Friedman.
The Raptors are going to be a hot topic right now given the way that they have started their season. It will be interesting to track their TV #'s throughout the year assuming that they continue on this pace, which is doubtful, though they will still end up being a very good team.

You are 100% correct as there is no difference and I no longer listen to 590 or the lite version of 1050.
It has nothing to do with TV numbers or that surprisingly there is interest on radio about the CFL and Argos.
The PRODUCERS have decide a long time ago how this wannabe US city has no place for the CFL and Argos.
Same thing in the print media, save and except and thank the baby Jesus for The Toronto Sun.
Awesome coverage of the CFL and Argos.
I agree. I find plenty of Argo talk on 1050. My work allows me to listen to the radio almost all day. Mike Richards also often discusses the CFL on his morning show. 590 does talk CFL too, however, they always seem to take some shot at the league, which is frustrating to hear. One thing to remember guys, there is only 9 teams and a huge off-season. There is only so much to talk about. I find too many here are so dedicated to the Argos and nothing else. It's OK to like other sports. As many of you know, I love the Raptors and can listen to much Raptors talk. You can like other teams too!
