Frankly for 1/2 the money I would have bought seats and sat in the upper corners if I had been given that option - the point is we weren't given that option.....and as a STH who was told that one of the main perks (what other perks were there really? a discount coupon?) of getting ST was the right to buy GC tickets early, I guess that meant we can spend the most $$ before everyone else and then we will cut prices and leave you hanging later....wow Thanks Argos! can I have a $50 credit to sign up for this awesome treatment again!
Hey Neely2005 --- I'm in 209 row 11 I think -- does that affect my right to ugrade? -- I don't even want the damn upgrade I'd like some money back or a full refund and choose from the new pricing model....
The cut off point in most sections in the upper decks were either row 8 or 10 IIRC.
Is Braley getting a piece of this Grey Cup, or is he totally out of the picture?

It's been updated. All I can say is wow.
Considering Braley received 3 Grey Cups in 4 years, I don't think he should be complaining
One of the few season ticket holder benefits was marketed as "first right to purchase tickets to the 104th Grey Cup...". It's right on their website. I believe, we should still get this benefit/right after this pricing change and get a refund on the price difference on tickets purchased under their old disastrous pricing model. I will be mentioning the lack of this benefit to my rep tomorrow. Frankly, it will be their choice, rip me off at the Grey Cup and take the small profit or lose me for the long run and lose out on a extended larger profit.
Unbelievable that I would come on here and still read post defending this type of behaviour from This new Argo regime. Keep on supporting this type of behaviour from lying Copeland and Sarah clueless Moore as you guys showed your full support to the brutal regime of braley. Most of you guys on this site and all the incompetent people that have been employed with the Argos have contributed in killing the cfl and Argos in Toronto!
No, most of the guys on this site have kept their passion for the Argonauts for many years, supporting them through good and the bad. Some of the posters I have known for over 20 years. In a market that can be extremely challenging, I applaud all Argonauts fans for their support and sharing some great memories.
Just when you think this new ownership team couldn't do any worse then when braley owned the team they go out and do this! I would go on and say that this could be the biggest black Mark for the cfl in the Toronto market. Don't think for a second now that these tickets are going to start to sell come tmrw and the weeks after unless they decided to give thousands of tickets away for free to local groups. All anybody is going to talk during grey cup week and leading up is how pathetic the sales have been for the game. It's unbelievable that they would react this way to the die hard fans that purchased tickets at those absolutely ridiculous prices from the start just wait until the media starts to talk with previous ticket buyers to how they got treated. They just didn't screw over Toronto but all other cities in the cfl that plan on holding a grey cup in the future with this screw up.
Never forget where I was when these idiots announced the prices for the grey cup it was the second home game of the season against Ottawa with a announced crowd of 12,000 and change I was sitting in the stands just looking at what a disaster the cfl had become in Toronto then all of a sudden I got an email from the Argos showing the prices for the grey cup I almost fell of my chair thinking how cluelsss of owners and management we had running this team. I knew right there and then that the Argos were in big trouble.
I wonder if the Argos view the recent series of events as deflationary? Deflation is when there is an incentive to hold off on a purchase recognizing that there is a good chance that you can get the goods or services cheaper at a future date. We're going to pass on the offset $50 offer for next year's STs. I overpaid this year for the product and as a ST was not treated properly for our Grey Cup tickets. We'll vote with our wallets this offseason. Given that I'll save money by deferring while I make a point, I don't see the downside.
Too bad hardcore fans decisions have come to this.

Argos Season Ticket Holder: 2010 - 2014 & 2016 - Present
Grey Cups Attended: 2012, 2016
Current Seats Location: Section 227
My husband is fed up, after 15 seasons as a season ticket holder we will not be renewing our tickets for next year. I'm Sad it's come to this. But we just don't see the benefit to this at all any more.
He thinks this $50 "goodwill gesture" if we renew by December 23rd is just a slap in the face.
