So they moved the season forward two weeks, it's a done deal already. Ambrosie sure doesn't dither when it comes to getting things done.

It was moved up when Ottawa came into the League and Ambrosie announced that the League would move it up another week to add a 3rd bye for each team to eliminate teams playing twice in the same week, or 3 games in 14 days etc.
The talk of moving up the season is actually to move up the Playoffs and Grey Cup, not the same thing IMO.
Argos, yes. League only 8 days earlier, and the reason is the extra bye week per team. Remember, the Argos first game was on a Sunday this season. Last season the league started the regular season on June 22, this year 8 days earlier, and the extra bye week is the only reason it isn't starting on June 21. Regular season ends the last weekend in November, just like this year, and Grey Cup is the same weekend as this year (1 day earlier in Calender days).
It's us vs the rest of the country
Absolutely agree with you.
Randy did mention during the many interviews at the GC, how the business of the league will continue full time right after the game.
Now with this early release of the schedule, what a concept to coincide with the Christmas gift giving.
If he gets the expansion awarded to the Halifax group like rumoured before the start of next year wow, we could have ourselves one of if not the best ever commissioner.
Wouldn't that be something. We went from the best (at least in recent times) with Mark Cohon, to one of the worst (and I don't think he was plain bad, just ill-suited for the job) in Jeffrey Orridge, to maybe THE best every in Randy Ambrosie. Only time will tell how good Ambrosie really is, but after Orridge was canned, I thought we might be in for some really dark days. I like it when my negative thoughts are proven wrong.
