Not a surprise. IIRC I read a recent interview where Mr. Glass said that he expects to miss the first 4 games.

Don't know if I'm ready to call Collaros "Mr. Glass". Not as if Ray has been healthy since dawning the double blue. Reilly gets injured every year as well, plus Willy, Lulay, and Durant as of late, etc.

I'm one of 'em, but again considering the QB injuries the last couple of seasons and Ricky Ray's age.................................. you know what they say about glass houses.

Willy = 2 years as a starter - 2 season ending injuries. Reilly = 3 years as starter - 2014 injury at the end of the season, but played through it and missed 8 games in 2015. Ricky Ray = 4 years as the Argonauts starter - has never played a full season (14 started in 2012, 11 in 2013, 17 in 2014 while playing with a bum shoulder for about half the season and 3.5 games in 2015). Durant = 11 games in 2 years.

The only two starter's that have stayed healthy the last couple of seasons are Burris and Mitchell.

LBs and d-linemen who are primarily run-stuffers are getting phased out of football in favour of smaller, athletic players who can run, so if anything we'll see more QB injuries.

Wonder if either league will eventually put in a maximum blitz rule, whereas no more than 6 defenders can rush the QB. I really can see it coming to that one day. With the new official in the booth, it would be easy to monitor.

The number of QB injuries in recent years in a QB-driven league makes it likely that something like this rule will be instituted.
