Rogers will probably sell them for close to $1B, and when the attendance starts to plummet and the new owners are looking to get out, Rogers will buy them back for $0.25 on the dollar. Just like the dome all over again.
Either that, or they will threaten selling to an American group that might relocate and try and hold governments hostage for a new stadium.

A bunch of the Sportsnet employees think Edward Rogers will end up buying the team. Would the MLB allow a discount sale ?
