I'm going, anyone else?
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
I'm looking for the following:
1. For Holmes, Scott or Dukes to take the bull by the horns and claim that #2 spot.
2. Do you play Chad Kelly on Saturday?
3. I understand that Priester and Daniel have formed the boundary CB and HB spots in practice, how will this translate to game action?
4. Who stakes a claim to that #5 receiver spot?
5. How the new uniforms look in game action.

I will not be there but since the game is streamed I am firing up the grill, putting some beers on ice and enjoying an Afternoon of Argos football. Can't wait!
Wife and I will be there in section 213. A friendly Ti-Cats fan gave me tickets. Ticketmaster prices are insane for a pre-season game! $90 bucks for lower bowl? No thanks!
I will pass on the live action and stream it.
It's us vs the rest of the country
This I don’t understand. I get the game comes with seasons. It could be an affordable opportunity for some families or kids to pay reduced pricing. like I said above $90 for CFL pre-season. Come on man, who’s paying that? I’d imagine there will be severely reduced tickets on stubhub come kickoff.
Kelly needs to play lots in both ex. games IMO
Hope both Nield & Brissett get real chances to play in the 5 pack - and not just in the ex. games
Be interesting to see who lines up at OTs and how they do
Much as Kelly would benefit from a lot of reps, getting seriously injured by some no-hoper desperate to make the Ticats could be a season-destroying thing -- I'd play him no more than three or four series.

There is precious little evidence of this - some 4th stringer on D - taking out a QB in CFL ex. games. It's cheap-shot punks like Marino who get handed a starting job by gutless moron CFL coaches that pose the problems. Play scared and somebody might get hurt. Kelly is ULTRA - inexperienced in Canadian football = he needs all the work he can get heading into a regular season.
It only has to happen once, and who's to say there isn't another Marino lurking on Hamilton's roster? If we had an experienced QB behind Kelly, I wouldn't be as reluctant to play him. But QB is the only position on the entire roster with no proven depth -- losing Kelly could torpedo the entire season. Also, Holmes and Scott have even less experience (i.e. none whatsoever), so they need reps more than he does.

I think the more experience Kelly gets now, the better equipped he’ll be to avoid taking a devastating hit once the season starts.
I also believe the team has a plan if Kelly goes down with a serious injury, and that plan involves prying either Evans or Arbuckle loose.
Not sure what kind of plan that is or how feasable it would be to pull off ??? And kinda desperation to pin hopes on Evans & Arbuckle type proven CFL average to mediocre types - what, they're going to fly in with no grasp of the offence and save the season if Kelly bombs just because they have some CFL experience ? Better to roll with young guys, Kelly included, and be willing to take a learning/developing season and hope at least one or two of the QBs pan out. Too bad they were so limited in their recruiting though to only come up with DIV III or NAIA level QBs and guys who have zero understanding of the Canadian game.
