I can't get the whole article, so I don't know what else he had to say, but if he is throwing in the towel, then maybe this nightmare scenario is truly dead.
I know this is a dead issue, but perhaps...finally will be moreso if the news here is true. Needless to say, as a true blue Argo fan...I could not be happier this Tuesday a.m.!

Nice Article ....Thanks for posting.
This part I like ..... maybe we can borrow it but substitute Argos ...
".......
As you prepare for your Tuesday, (Bills) ARGOS fans, be sure to polish up your explainer for why you're grinning like an idiot, plan to keep a browser tab open to every (Buffalo ) ARGO news outlet fathomable, and make no apologies when, if the news drops today, you transform into a party monster in front of your most respected colleagues......"
I think Argos fans can be party monsters in the middle of the day .... for the Blls announcement ... for the win in Calgary .... for when Owens comes back .....
sorry for the rant. It was fun imagining.
When a story is not a story, however only here in the wannabe US city!
Wouldn't it be nice if one of Terry Pegula's billionaire buddies came and bought the Argos.
Once the sale is officially complete, rumour has it, that the Pegula's are improving the "half time" experience by hiring a band call Bon Jovi

I was watching one of the Buffalo newscasts yesterday and you really got to feel happy for these people because the Bills mean a whole lot to the people of Western New York. I still dislike the team immensely because of the Flutie-Johnson scenario, but the fact that they are not going to move to Toronto probably makes it easier for me to want to attend a game in Orchard Park on occasion.
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
Well, they would fit in with their 3 alarm blaze of the old training facilities..... and an Argos in Western NY would be able to have a cool tailgate party.
Only problem may be the field size .... Maybe during the Pan Am games?
.... (there's no tongue in cheek smiley)
I think we all saw this coming but the official announcement was made this morning.

shocking really
people are having a field day on the Sun website commenting on this story.
Here is a good article about why the series didn't work from one of the few in the sports media who didn't think it would work (Sean Fitz-Gerald): http://sports.nationalpost.com/2014/...ure-in-canada/

The NFL is still very popular in Toronto but team loyalties are scattered, the Buffalo Bills are not Toronto's team and completely sucked during the series here.
The greedy pricks at Rogers overestimated the demand for Bills football here, add to the fact that the Skydome is a shite football stadium and here we are.
Egg on their faces......beautiful!!!
