Toss @CoachLangsdorf into the mix for #Esks job. Serious NFL, NCAA & CFL experience. Should get a look. #yet

Langsdorf seems like a longshot to me. Last CFL experience in 2001, no head coaching experience. Resume reads a bit like Bart Andrus's -- QB coach, etc.
Expect DeVone Claybrooks to be officially named Stampeders DC sometime this week, maybe as soon as tomorrow. #CFL
— Scott Mitchell (@SUNMitchell) December 7, 2015
According to multiple #CFL sources, the Stampeders have interviewed the Alouettes' co-offensive coordinator, Ryan Dinwiddie.
— Didier Orméjuste (@DidierRDS) December 7, 2015
I'm told Bob Dyce's office is cleaned out at Riders HQ. An experienced, solid, offensive and special teams coach is available to a #CFL team
— Arash Madani (@ArashMadani) December 8, 2015
Per #CFL sources: Calgary Stampeders will be hiring former Alouettes offensive coordinator Ryan Dinwiddie as QB coach. Dinwiddie leaving Als
— Arash Madani (@ArashMadani) December 8, 2015
1/2 Multiple #CFL sources have told me that former Rider DC, Greg Quick will rejoin the Alouettes' coaching staff.

Per sources, Mark Kilam will return as Stampeders special-teams co-ordinator next season. #CFL

A bit surprised Jackson didn't take OC job. Will follow Jones to SSK, as will Dickenson and entire staff. Didn't expect any to stay. #Esks
— Jason Gregor (@JasonGregor) December 8, 2015
Jason Maas wants to bring Ottawa assistants w/ him to EDM if he's hired. RedBlacks quickly trying to extend asst coaches contracts now. #CFL
— Arash Madani (@ArashMadani) December 8, 2015
Only Chris Jones assistant ever in question of not going to SSK was Craig Dickenson. Word is, he won't join Dave in CGY. Headed to SSK. #CFL
— Arash Madani (@ArashMadani) December 8, 2015
So Anthony Calvillo is now officially the Alouettes offensive coordinator. #CFL
— Didier Orméjuste (@DidierRDS) December 8, 2015
The Alouettes have fired LB coach, Chris Tormey. Greg Quick will replace him. #CFL
— Didier Orméjuste (@DidierRDS) December 8, 2015
Kavis Reed elevated to Asst. HC in Montreal. They now have two Asst. HC in Montreal, Noel Thorpe and Reed.
Per #CFL sources: Riders are parting ways with Craig Smith, the director of player personnel/Canadian scouting. New regime taking over. #CFL

Busy day today!
The #TiCats have denied the #Eskimos permission to speak with DC Orlondo Steinauer about their head coach job. O has 1 more year on contract
— Farhan Lalji (@FarhanLaljiTSN) December 9, 2015
Why do I get the feeling that 2016 will be Austin's last season with the Ticats and Steinauer is the Head Coaching heir apparent ?
If Austin doesn't give Steinauer some sort of promotion that is a BS move on his part. You are not supposed to stand in the way of assistants interviewing for HC jobs. I don't see him giving up the HC job either to be just GM, so unless he decides to pack up and leave, I think Steinauer is stuck.
It's us vs the rest of the country
I could see Austin jumping ship, I think it could be really interesting for the 2016 off-season. Huff is rumoured to still have the coaching bug and his deal ends in 2016. Austin's deal also ends in 2016 and he's not known for sticking around. So I could actually see Steinauer become the Head Coach in Hamilton. Although, I'm not sure who they'd go with as GM, Tillman maybe ?
In other news
Certainly appears as though #BCLions will circle back to Khari Jones to be their OC. Had the gig in 2014. Not many exp options left. #CFL
— Farhan Lalji (@FarhanLaljiTSN) December 9, 2015
I'm pretty sure Steinauer signed a bigger-than-usual coordinator contract and the quid pro quo was agreeing not to allow his name to be considered for any HC jobs during the contract. I don't like Austin but he negotiated a deal that works for both parties, and Steinauer signed it willingly.
A name I'm hearing is a candidate for OC jobs with #BCLions, #Eskimos and #RedBlacks (if it opens) is Pete Costanza. #CFL
— Kirk Penton (@PentonKirk) December 9, 2015
According to western #CFL sources, if Jason Maas is hired as the Eskimos HC, Barron Miles will be his DC.

Anwar Stewart has verbal agreement to stick with Als. He's currently the Als defensive quality control coach.

Contact extension talks ongoing in Ottawa for their GM and Coach.
And...............
Very good news IMO.Hunt also said the Redblacks’ late-season run to first place in the division, the stirring 35-28 victory against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East final at TD Place stadium and even the 26-20 Grey Cup game defeat against the Eskimos had boosted renewals and new sales of season tickets for 2016 ahead of last year’s pace.
The Redblacks sold 15,000-15,500 season tickets (or equivalents) for 2015, which was down from about 17,000 for the team’s first season on the field.
Hunt said the boost in sales was “encouraging that people are responding well to the year we had and are feeling good about renewing their season tickets and being part of R Nation.”
The Redblacks sold out 24,000-seat TD Place stadium for seven of 11 games played there this past season, including the playoff contest against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
