Last and only draft party I was invited to was in 2010. That was the one held at the sports bar across the 401 from the tsn and ctv studios... Was awesome, met Mark Cohon as we were leaving. That was also the year of the first town hall meeting I was invited to attend as a season ticket holder, the other town hall was 2013. These things are very few and far between. Would be nice to be more frequent.

Did they do anything in 2015 while I was living out west?

In 2015 they had Fan Day (in Oshawa) and the Corn Roast (in Richmond Hill) we only went to the Corn Roast.

Although the Corn Roast isn't put on by the team.

The Argos also had a town hall meeting in 2012 in the back room at Wayne Gretzky's. I think that SCTV uses that room. It's the only Argo town hall meeting that I've attended.

They had one in 2013 in the same location. Nothing since.

I thought that Draft Party or what ever it was called went over quite well. Having the Commissioner there and the #1 pick Big Joe Eppele (I wish he was still playing RG for the Argos), Kelly Wilshire dropping in etc. Watching the Draft unfold on the big board. I guess it was Sandy Anunziati who was MCing that day. I thought it was a good day and well attended.
I thought maybe Braley had put a stop to such extravagance when he took over and Copeland would try something new this year. But same old, same old. Nothing.
The Oshawa practice was fairly well attended for the east enders. That happens about every 5 years or so.

My guess is the Ti-Cats have had steady marketing and PR since Bob took over. Our owners have been in place for 4 1/2 months. If they don't have everything running like other organizations who have had steady ownership for years, it really shouldn't cause panic.

Bit of an unfair comparison. Bob Young has done a lot for that franchise since he took over - the team goes above and beyond for their fans, and I'd put the Ticats at the top of the league in terms of how they treat their fans and the overall stadium experience.

Agreed on all, but there is a price to pay for this. The price of their tickets has also skyrocketed in recent years especially on the lower end.

Couldn't charge the prices they do at THF when they were playing at IWS.

A lot of teams lower end have skyrocketed, but I am noticing that some teams are adjusting the bottom end down again. Last season BC's lowest season ticket price added up to $400 - which is ridiculous and I believe either last season or 2014 Calgary's lowest was around $35. BC now has it set and $250 all in and $320 all in - Calgary has a family pack which has 2 tickets (1 adult + 1 child) for $242 (11 games), $274 for the end zone and $291 for the power zone.

As I said though, it's hard to compare anyone else to Bob Young and the Ticats. IMO Bob Young "gets it" and I'm hoping to see the same from our Ownership/Leadership Group.

I don't understand your response. My point was that posters here complaining about lack of action by our ownership are misguided, so those who are pointing to things the Ti-Cats are doing don't have a valid complaint at this point in time.

You seem to think I was taking a swipe at our ownership, which is the complete opposite of what I intended. In essence, I was giving Young and his PR skills/activities a compliment.

They seem to currently have a formula and situation that fits them well. Let us not forget though, a short two years ago, Bob, despite all his efforts, was getting trashed by everyone in the city, including a large number of fans. It's amazing that a new stadium combined with a strong team can change almost everyone's perception. It's the reason the Argos have hope. Can we be like the Cats in two years? I think so.
