Talk about no breaks, but n the punt block they roughed our kicker no call. Players are taught to aim for a point forward to avoid the kicker but this time the player creamed our kicker

It wasn't a penalty. When you make contact with the ball, contacting the kicker is no longer in play.

That's like a free kill shot. I'd be practicing blocks every practice.

The Argonauts also announced today that the club has signed international defensive lineman Joshua Watson to the practice roster.
Good to see Barker bringing in DLinemen. This along with the Lemon trade goes to show the team isn't happy with the lack of Dline push and are actively trying to fix it.

Argos have officially added Devin Smith to the practice roster. Depending on the health of the halfbacks, it wouldn't surprise me to see him dress on Wednesday.

I noted that Smith was preparing to "send his car back to Toronto" in the time right around the season opener. It never caught my attention that he had never signed (until now); the team must have been waiting for his full recovery from his injury.

McPherson is back, to no one's surprise. I assume there was a minor disagreement about salary, or he would have been back the day we traded Gale.

Also, we signed DE Michael Buchanan.

Either kicker Ryan Hawkins was only brought in for a quick look (never hurts to have a few decent kickers in your contacts list), or any concerns we had about Hajrullahu's health no longer apply. We released Hawkins on Monday.

Argos are a bit banged up in the secondary so I guess Brown is back for depth purposes.

I am surprised Brown was brought back in favour of Travis Hawkins who was recently sent packing by the Winnipeg franchise.

The Argos have signed ex-Ticat, ex-Als QB Dan LeFevour. Should be a decent bakup to Kilgore or Ricky Ray

I guess LeFevour has more ability than McPherson, but he doesn't have the latter's familiarity with our system. I... don't really see the point of this signing.

Disagree - LeFevour has wayyyyy more QB talent/skills than MacPherson; and if Kilgore falters in relief of Ray, I would not hesitate a second to go to LeFevour once he has learned the offence a bit; always liked LeFevour's skill-set for the CFL game - going back to seeing him play college ball - good arm, but also a very good running QB; and he has built up some CFL experience. This guy is a lot better than a bunch of current CFL back-up QBs IMO.

I think it is worth noting that LeFevour hails from the same home town as former WWF star "Leaping" Lanny Poffo.

Hi real home town or his "WWE given home town"?

Getting a flashback. Was that Downers Grove Illinois?

You are correct sir! I was unaware wrestling promotions fibbed about where wrestlers came from. I thought all masked wrestlers actually came from" Parts Unknown".

Nice to see the Argos sign the first player ever drafted by the Major League Football League.

He was ok with the Cats.
Had that serious first game injury with the Als.
Overall has great wheels, the arm probably below average.
Not a bad pick up though.

Good to see the argos sign Dan Lefevour. He at least has some upside whereas McPherson has little. Also good trade bait if necessary.

And the rate at which we are losing DB's Jerald Brown may turn out to be a good move too.
