I guess it'll all come out in the wash. Let's see how the next few years play out and then watch the shit hit the fan on here again. hahaha.

I'm not standing anywhere near that fan I tell yah!!!
Good point here SnowRogue, if the Argos were to make a change at the conclusion of the season a guy like Sunderland would be the type of guy they should look at.
Ottawa management has done a masterful job in building their team and anyone involved in this should be heavily considered.

Ya, I've always been a little more critical of the GM over the coach, but barring some miracle down the stretch, I'm thinking that it is time to start afresh here. I wouldn't say my reasons for Barker are restricted to who he did or didn't keep at QB though.

Yes, I posted the same thought (regarding input on QB personnel).
It is likely that, unless the team does a 180, will indeed miss the playoffs due to the crossover.
Unless our current HC can turn the team around and win at least one playoff game (on the team's own merit), changes really must be made.
Truth to tell, it seems to me that change is due, and I'd certainly like to see fresh faces with a new approach, if the like of Orlondo Steinauer were to be brought on board.
Next 10 days may decide our fate. If we get swept by Ham and Wpg sweeps Sask, there will almost certainly be a cross-over which means we would have to catch either of Ham or Ott for a playoff spot. I think it will take a record of 9-9 to finish second in the East, which means we'd need to go 5-4 in second half. IMO there are five games we should be able to win (if we can sort out our o-line and to lesser extent d-line issues) -- one vs. Ham, plus Ott, Mtl, Wpg and Sask. Assuming we lose one to Ham, two to Cal and one to Edm. Manage 5-4 and I believe we're in the playoffs. Otherwise we have to hope for a collapse by Wpg (possible) or Edm (highly improbable) to eliminate chance of a crossover.

I still believe in both Barker and Milanovich, but if they do fail to make the playoffs, I would not object to a change.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
After all those two have been through the last few years holding this franchise together, no way should they be fired this early. They have the full year to get this fixed.
So if the Argos make the playoffs we keep Barker and Milanovich ?
What if we lose in the semi final, still keep 'em ?
depends on how the loss would be. If they were to lose a very well played game by both teams, I would bring both back. If they were to lose and look bad in doing so, I would think Milanovich would be out. I don't think Barker has anything to worry about. Getting rid of a coach usually buys a GM some time.

The next two games will go far in answering this decision. They have a tough couple of games coming up against the Ticats.
Tim Hortons Field is even tougher than BMO Field on the Boatmen. Zach Collaros has returned in top form. Austin and Steinhauher prepare and adapt very well for games against SM. For the last three years the road to the playoffs ended with the Ticats.
SM and Jim Barker have this season, and more importantly, the next two weeks to change this. Their future is in their hands.
