1st 7 games on the road?? looks like an Argos schedule.
If MLSE touches it, it'll turn to a big bag of SHITE! So the Dafoe hype train has now left the rails. I remember picking my wife up at the airport on the same day that he was coming for his big presser last Jan. There was a few media types and three guys wearing TFC scarves. I wonder if they'll be there to see the doors hit him in his ass on the way out.
I can't blame MLSE for this one. This is on Defoe and his mommy. I'm glad to be done with his off field stupidity and as far as I know he left here before the holidays. We got Jozy Altidore in return who is a quality player and the rumour is we made a profit on Defoe's contract so, I'm happy with the final outcome considering the circumstances.
Most are confident he will end up here but it is possible he won't. Either way, I hope the rumours are true that we at least made a profit on Judas, I mean Defoe. We'll just have to wait and see.
Look who we found at the airport! Welcome @JozyAltidore #TFClive pic.twitter.com/GisL3RtUbH

Hope springs eternal once again for TFC.
I'm just glad to see that despite Leiwke's departure being near that bold moves are still being made with TFC.

Found it funny, Steve Simmons wrote in today paper how the throng of people who where at the airport to meet and greet the new big TFC players, were MLSE employees bus in for the event, too funny and the media bought hook line and sinker
Initially when I read that I too found it funny. But upon further pondering, I would love it if the owner of the Argonauts would do something...ANYTHING in the way of marketing many of the stars of the Argos. MLSE conducted a low cost marketing ploy that gained attention for TFC..good on them. Heck, what would it cost Braley to rent a Smart Car & send the entire Argo marketing team to meet & greet Ricky Foley when he returns to Toronto?
It's all smoke and mirrors, create the buzz and imagery and most fans eat it up, MLSE is pretty good at hyping these moves.
When things eventually don't work out they create the next big story, it's all about keeping the brand in front of the public.
Then we have the Argonauts approach, go away and say nothing at all during the off season and create absolutely no buzz at all.
