It looks like these signature jerseys will allow us to relive that not-so-wonderful 1995 season while the uniforms that would remind Torontonians of that memorable '83 Grey Cup win and the Argos return to glory in the early 1980s collect mothballs.

Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
At the Friends of the Argonauts corn roast, Chris Rudge was asked by Don Landry about the thirds. Probably spooked by the constant (and legitimate, of course) demand from some faithful fans for the return of the boat logo, Rudge gave a strangely negative response that amounted to "you will either love it or hate it."
The early guess is "hate it".
Why can't Reebok make a decent jersey?? The Saskatchewan jersey is just plain fugly. The Argo jersey doesn't promise to be much better.
Very disappointed. Especially since the 80's jersey with the boat logo is a classic. I get that they are trying to be futuristic instead of retro, but do something worthy.

I checked out pics of the bc one, it looks cool, though the numbers really should be more readable, perhaps in solid orange.
Also for some reason I am curious about the hamilton uniform... Really can't wait for Tuesday...

Looks pretty close to what we are likely getting, I think. Wouldn't be surprised if the shoulders have some sort of pattern, tho.
Unless the value of A is defined, A to the 97th power is pretty meaningless. But rather than defining it, the letter should indicate surname! Since #97 is Ivan Brown, that one should be B to the 97th power. Just sayin'.
They won't do that just because you want them to. You can choose to buy it or not.

I'm disappointed in what we're seeing from the video and what the uniforms will most likely look like. These look to be laughable uniforms and not something that will draw in new fans. They may get the Argos some attention, but of the wrong kind. With such a rich history and so many things that they could've done, I am shocked that these are what Reebok went with. That mock up looks close but I think the sleeves are a bit different.

Here's today's Breakfast Television segment with Zander Robinson where the new uniform was "unveiled"- although the host holds it up without actually unfolding it so you don't actually learn much from this -

Faster + Louder = Better
Thanks for posting, Steve. You're right, not much of a reveal altho we now know the shoulders will be white, with Cambridge Blue lower down the sleeve.
"Cambridge Blue" but not Cambridge Blue. Looks like a hockey jersey to me not a football jersey. Personally I haven't liked any of the third jerseys we have had over the past several years. I was really hoping this one would have been different. Like I said before, I really like our primaries.
Pretty small thing to get worked up about, seeing as you've posted twice about it.
The Cambridge blue that we see today is closer to what the Cambridge Blue was when the Toronto Argonauts first picked those colours. Cambridge slowly changed (or changed backed, depending who you ask) to the colour it is today.
It was also taken from the Cambridge Rugby Union colours. Because it doesn't resemble Cambridge Blue on the colour palette, doesn't mean it isn't a Cambridge blue.
Cambridge University Rugby Union Shirt from 1892.
Interesting. I wonder why they choose to go with the other Cambridge Blue on our primary jerseys then?
I was under the impression that blue (on the left in photo) was the original Cambridge Blue. Not a big deal but it would be nice if the team stuck to the original colours whatever they maybe.
Are we sure it won't be the actual Cambridge Blue, based on the teasers we've seen? That is certainly possible, but let's wait to see it in the flesh. If it ends up being the light blue we had before the current unis restored CB, that's not a bad alternative IMO. I always liked that shade as well.
