Based on the rules; the hit on Ray should've been a flag, but IMO Bourke's cut block is what lead to the Ray hit.
Whitaker is struggling big time this season, and as I mentioned previously a change is needed.

TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
As I wrote in the Ray injured thread (if mods want to merge it with the main injury thread; no worries, I just thought that it deserved its own thread).
As much as I want to see what Farjardo can do (I do like scrambling QB's); it's too early for Farjardo right now, he hasn't even been with the team for a full calendar year. Not that I don't think Farjardo could play well; more so I don't want to risk putting in the kid too early and screwing him up. Also, Kilgore has earned the #2 spot; let's at least see what he can do before passing him over.
im so used to montreal being a force that its weird for them to be the weakest around.
it feels like ottawa is the new force and we have to face them on Monday without Ray.
I hope we can somehow pick up at least a couple wins with Kilgore at QB
Hey everybody! Check out my YouTube page at MARCWAGZ ON YOUTUBE for some Mediocre Martial Arts and Music Videos.
Let me just say that Fajardo's first pass attempted went much better then Kilgore's. From those two plays Fajardo looks the most calm and ready. Even on those qb sneaks he took his time and found some nice holes and actually carried a few tacklers or at least they struggled getting him down. On that td pass the play was going left and when it went south he showed some poise and turned and found Coombs.
I've been a Fajardo fan from day one when I did a search and found his stats and highlights. He's very intelligent student and a winner. He won four league Championships in high school and led the team to a state title as a senior. In college at Nevada he has great numbers over four years. This is a guy who's played plenty of football and not just a starter as a senior in both high school and college.
Perhaps they'll use all three guys and mix the other teams up.
Argo you're too fast as I had to correct something. He won for league titles in high school and led Servite to a Cali state title as a senior. Should be fun times the next four to six weeks.
Alright, that gives me a little more confidence. Practice team guys are usually running other teams plays are they not? If he was a back up last year as well than he may be further along.
I do believe he should get the start this week, but if he struggles mightily, I'd go to Fajardo or McPherson for the next one.
It's us vs the rest of the country
2 of the next 3 games are winnable.
GO ARGOS!!!
Recall that in 2013 it was naturally assumed that Harris would be the guy, until we went with Collaros. Difference from then to now is that then, both guys had been in the system same length of time (but Harris was "ranked" higher in that he dressed all of 2012). That said, I have no doubt Kilgore gets the ball but I would not be surprised if they mixed Fajardo in from time to time, as they did last night on the play that resulted in his TD pass. IIRC it was second and goal from around the four -- not a short-yardage play, per se. (I may be wrong about that, tho.)

Baker Mayfield can't get here soon enough.
If Kilgore acts like a robot, turns and fires the ball into the other teams hands again you yank him. He has to feel the game. You can't just have him hand off 40 times. This isn't college ball. Hope with a ton of reps this week the young guys do well on Sunday.
