I wonder how true this is though. At the same time this was reported, it was reported that the Riders would vote against it as well but then next day you hear names of those who said they would vote yes. A football locker room is quite large with a lot of different characters, there is no way the whole room is against the deal.
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
Looks like after players slept on it, they've changed their tune.
Yesterday on their "off day" their day was filled up meetings because of this CBA shit. Players are happy it's over because it's been emotionally draining for them.
I'm glad it's over too, been hard not to share anything the room mate tells me because it's not appropriate to share on the internet! I've done a decent job : )
Lots of union members in all walks of life say they will vote No, but the vast majority of collective agreements get ratified. I will be surprised if this one goes down to defeat, despite the angry words from some players.
I'm glad Foley left the Argos. To come out and threaten the CFLPA members that are playing with physical harm when they play Sask. borders on suspension territory IMO. Threatening an opponent player is against League rules I would think. If he doesn't like the deal that much he should refuse his bonus money. Fat chance of that.
Frank Zicarelli is becoming increasingly controversial in his columns. He blasts TSN among others in this one: http://www.torontosun.com/2014/06/09...n-new-cfl-deal
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
What have I been telling you about this clown? On a humourous note, you really should go to the Argos website and watch the the interview with Mlianovich after the mock game on Friday. Zicarelli asks a lot of questions, and I can't help but wonder if he was dropped on his head as a child. He seems so unsure of every question he asks. Sounds like when a 5 year old just goes on and on with a slew of quetions.
It's us vs the rest of the country
He certainly loves taking shots at TSN. He inferred that Glen Suitor is a "has been" in a recent column in addition to the shots that he took in this column. I doubt he will be making any guest appearances, as Gary Lawless from the Winnipeg Free Press did last night, on TSN anytime soon.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
I've kept quiet because of my own occasional appearances in the Sun sports section (which is by far Cda's best), but there is absolutely no defending Zicarelli's latest nonsensical ramble.
