TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
I am happiest for Ryan Dinwiddie and McLeod Bethel-Thompson who have both taken far too much crap over the past two years for the former and the past four years for the latter. MBT was nothing short of outstanding today and Dinwiddie, as usual, had a superb gameplan in place.
To be the best, you have to beat the best and I look forward to next week's game against Winnipeg, whom the Argos should have beaten earlier this season.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Anything can happen in one game. The Blue Bombers are a great team, no doubt about it, but they are not invincible. I would not bet against the Argos right now. Regardless of the outcome, they are going to come out swinging... and I can't wait.
Early Story Lines.
Zach Collaros injured his right ankle late in the Western Final..heavily taped up to finish. Could this affect his rollout mobility?
McManis; Zicarelli is reporting may have a torn bicep; huge implications on our Defense..
Predictable story lines.
Revenge Game for Harris against Blue Bombers; expect him to be fired up!
O'Shea 1st time coaching in the GC against his former team; hoping Argos are the kryptonite; after beating his former Ticats team previously...
Darby against the Argos; any resentment after being uncermoniously dumped in what I believe was a poor trade by the Argos
These 2 teams haven't met in a GC since 1950 !!! - Argos won that one; and will win this one.
MBT looks sizzling hot and Collaros's foot injury may be decisive.
One of the Argo fan Facebook pages has a guy ranting and raving that MBT should be finished with Toronto forever because of his sideline "meltdown" with Dinwiddie yesterday. That same forum has had hundreds, if not thousands, of posts this year complaining about him and demanding that Kelly be given the No. 1 job. It's amazing how some fans either can't accept and enjoy actual success, or can't admit they might have been wrong in their judgment. (Credit to Rich for showing how the latter is supposed to be done.)

There is no doubt he is. But I believe it is the first time he has had an o-line protect him this well in his entire time in Toronto. They go hand in hand. I mean, James Franklin was the chosen one first. MBT outplayed him. Then Arbuckle was to be the saviour.MBT outplayed him. So he has out performed his competition for quite a while now, and still gets no respect. He’s been good the entire time, and now with a better supporting cast has become really good.
I’ll say it again, the signing of Ryan Hunter is the key to what we are seeing now.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Regarding Collaros, I want him healthy and playing because I want the Argos to face the best and I don't want to hear any excuses if and when the Argos win.
I completely agree that Ryan Hunter has bolstered that offensive line and their performance yesterday and, in recent weeks, has been amazing, especially considering that they have two projected starters - Cage and Nicastro - not in the lineup.

Thrilled to see Canada’s team back in the Grey Cup!
Great bunch of guys we sit with to enjoy the Argonauts play their best game of the season.
A lot of venom directed at the Argos on other fan forums which I actually find hilarious!
I’ve said all along there are way more Argonaut fans in the GTA and surrounding regions than people think, nice to see more of them show up to support the team.
Go Argos!

Flights are $3k, Via takes you only to Saskatoon and good luck boarding a Greyhound. Aren’t they gone? What a poor travelling country compared to the rest of the world

If anyone is looking for an affordable way to still attend the Grey Cup, we just got Flair Airlines return tickets for $375 per person. It will take you to Winnipeg. We’ve got a rental car for the rest of the way. Alternatively, airfares were going for $2,000. +. Flair flies twice daily.
Best tickets can be had 10 -15 rows back at the 55 yard line for $600. We’ve got 35 yard line tickets behind the Argos for $400.
