Nobody is excited about the XFL's championship game this weekend? I haven't heard much buzz about it.

Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
I didn’t really see any of the game but tickets were only available in the lower bowl which holds 29,000. Attendance was 22+. I expect next year The Rock will do away with neutral site championship game, much like MSL does due to lack of interest from other fan bases.
Arlington beat DC and the XFL will crow on about how many more players will be invited to NFL camps (mini camps on tryout basis).
I think Farhan wrote about seeing XFL/CFL in game play. A lot of risk for CFL teams potentially losing a star player to injury in a meaningless exhibition game against a US team (see the 1960s for example), but I would love to see a CFL team take an XFL team to the woodshed.
Christmas Tree was right, the league should have merged with the XFL.
The Rock's struggles continue as XFL "loses $60 million in one season"
Jake Nisse Dailymail.com June 10 2023
I have to ask who is Christmas Tree? As for the losses, this will not deter The Rock, Garcia or Cardinale. Everything is great, expansion is the offing for 2024 (QB play will be even worse if that is possible) and the league is expected to generate $100,000,000 next season, although how that is going to happen wasn’t discussed.
This is a long term project that is so much more than just about football. Not making an NFL roster has traumatized The Rock. He, along with his business partners are making it possible for a few other football players to follow their dream.
Larry T = Christmas Tree = still dreaming of a World Class and Major League NFL team for the GTA. On his X-Mas wish list forever. Stuck slumming with the minor league Argos - boo, hoo, hoo.
Former Ottawa Redblack players Ryan Davis and QB Wil Arndt attended the recent XFL “Talent Showcase” in Arlington, Texas.

XFL announced that 2024 season tickets went on sale today….with the exception of Houston Texas and Las Vegas Nevada. In player transactions, San Antonio Brahma Bulls “ Standout QB” Reid Sinnett has signed a professional contract with the NFLs Cincinnati Bengals. Last season the Jaimie Elizondo coached QB went 13-19 for 97 yards for San Antonio before suffering a season ending foot injury.
Sinnett beat out another XFL QB named Drew Plitt to earn that professional contract from the Bengals. Last year with Arlington, Plitt went 63-99 for 668 yards 3 TDs and 5 Ints. He lost his starting job on multiple occasions due to ineffectiveness. The Renegades offence was perhaps the most boring offence I have ever seen aside from the Brahma Bulls offence that is.
It's going to be difficult for MBT to get that opportunity. His age being the biggest factor (yes Doug Flutie was older, but he had already started games in the NFL when he returned, and absolutely tore up the CFL), and the fact that he has already been in so many camps over his career doesn't help either. There is a been there done that factor. I know he is comfortable walking away from the game, but if he wants to play again in a non spring league, the CFL IMO is his only real option.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Rumblings abound that the Vegas Vipers are relocating to either Tempe Arizona or Nashville Tennessee.
Of the 102 USFL/XFL players to either receive NFL mini camp invites or that actually signed a professional contract to attend an NFL TC, 17 of those players have managed to crack the 53 man roster at this point. None being QBs, including USFL MVP Alex McGeough and XFL Offensive POY Jordan Ta’Mua.
Former Vipers receiver and Argo, Martavis Bryant has been reinstated by the NFL and eyeing a return.
