I think that the "baby blue" colour the Argo's use, should be called "Argonaut Blue"....
Then T-Bone and Mulder can have a group hug and sing Kum-bya.

I'm pretty sure it was Rudge that said they went back to the pantone Cambridge Blue to get the colour right for our current primary jerseys at that jersey launch. That's why I was under the impression that, that was the proper Cambridge Blue. I guess I was wrong, my bad. I would just like to see some consistency between the uniform colours.
Rudge did say that, and I believe they are in fact using the pantone for Cambridge Blue. Whether or not that pantone matches what Cambridge originally wore is an open question, but I am prepared to commend the org for at least trying to find the right colour in the redesign two years ago.
I always thought it was quaint in a CFL kinda way, that when they changed to "Cambridge blue" a couple of years ago, they didn't change the light blue on their helmet logo to match the new unis. When you're a franchise counting your pennies, it's understandable and you hope too many people don't notice.
But in the photo of the new white helmet posted online, it looks as if they STILL didn't adjust the colour of the light blue in the helmet logo. Is it just my failing eyesight? Are they just putting old logo stickers on brand new helmets?. Is it possible they don't care if the light blue on the helmet doesn't match the light blue on the unis?
The equipment mgrs probably care, but haven't been given have the money needed to order new, correct stickers.
Here we go -- as posted elsewhere online.

Looks sharp.
Heard some feedback up here that the Ottawa Jerseys will feature plaid, but it's not the focal point.
Also heard that Edmonton's jerseys are hideous.
After a tad more research.
(From a Book called "The Bumps: An Account of the Cambridge University Bumping Races, 1827-1999")
I knew Alf gradually changed the colour in the early 1940's
The jersey looks better with the complete uniform. I especially like the blue pants. I am warming up to the signature look. I find the authentic jersey looks decent, however the fan replica, not so much.
Well, they look better than I had feared. I don't like the font style for the numbers though but I guess it helps the "A" look more bold because of the contrast. I agree that the replica's don't look anywhere near as decent as the official. I love our current white jersey and am glad that these will be used sparingly.
When it comes down to it, you don't really care about the colour of a girl's panties ... you care about how well she performs.
The jersey is way too urban street wear/ dance club/ bam..bam..bam take some ex and listen to crap music for me. This punk says NO to the jersey.
Take the A off the front and put it on the shoulders and it's fine.
Originally I agreed with that, but when you are looking at various teams shirts, many have a large emblem on the front to let others know what team shirt the person is wearing. I think the large A lets people know ... this is The Argos ..... (maybe capitals would be better THE ARGOS!)
I know I often mix up my sons Charger and plain Argos blue jersey. .... both just have numbers. I can live with the A
I posted this in the game thread: The new uni is going to look very good, IMO, except for the vertical stripe on the socks. But if you are listening, Argos, the numbered jerseys for sale in the store need to be fixed -- the nameplates are way too big, extending over the dark blue sleeve striping and ruining the effect. Much as I don't need another jersey, I might actually buy one of these, but not with an oversized nameplate.
They are a little better than I had originally anticipated, but I'm not going to fork over the $$ for one.

This jersey is 1 - horrible looking, 2 -another Reebok fail 3-way too highly-priced. They'll sell no more than 100
