    In a move that should deeply amuse R.J, the Argos have signed Swayze Waters.

    They better keep some depth around because we know what happened in 2015 when Waters got injured all the time and it wasn't pretty.

    I'm not ecstatic of this signing either. I would rather run with Pfeffer.

    LOL..Don't get me wrong. I've been talking about signing Van Gylswyk since I realized Lirim was a FA. Unless you have a Justin Medlock, I would prefer to use a National at the kicking spot. Both Pfeffer and Van Gylswyk have huge legs. A competition between those guys may have been the best thing.

    I'm really surprised that Popp signed Waters, when Maher and Van Gylswyk are both available. I would have been really happy with that scenario though, as I think both have a lot of potential, although Pfeffer does seem to have some injury issues - not sure how smart it is to have two injury prone kickers (Waters and Pfeffer).

    I too have reservations about both Heath and Waters. As OV says, let's hope that there is stiff competition at both positions and if they subsequently come out on top, then fine.

    Waters never stays healthy, which is ridiculous for a kicker. IIRC he lost out to Long in BC, because he got injured during training camp.

    The IR will see plenty of usage with Waters and Ray on the team.
