1996 and 1997 defense

Does anyone have access to sack totals from these years? I know we were debating the lower sack totals for this year and I somehow recall there not being a significant sack total in 1996 or 1997? Anyone can confirm or disprove that would be appreciated.

I'd say we kicked arse in those years. Opposition got 18 against us in 96 and 19 in 97. I don't think we'll see two better Argo teams back to back than those great years. It lined up nicely until I posted. I don't know. It won't line up but 44 in 96 and 49 in 97.
Sacks are so important and we just haven't been getting enough. I remember those years all to well and knowing so many of the guys off the field. Very special times.

Loved watching those teams as well. Pure dominance and it would have been sweet to have Flutie and Drummond stick around a few more years.
