Tailgating in Montreal

Argos fans who will travel to Montreal next Sunday are warmly invited to the tailgate party of "les gars qui vivent". We will be serving pancakes starting at 9h00 and our barbecue will be available to those who want to cook whatever they bring from 10h30 until 12h30 and even after the game if there are leftovers.

Come and meet us at our usual location, in the park, just right of Percival Molson stadium main entrance on Park Avenue.

When in Montreal (or in Rome), do as the Romans do. Park anywhere you want. Though they do tend to frown if you leave your car in the middle of a downtown intersection past 6 am.

If you arrive early enough you may try the parking of the nearby Royal Victoria hospital. Otherwise there are many private parking downtown (around St-Catherine and Peel). From them, it's about a 30 minutes walk to the stadium.

By the way, we carry all of our tailgate gear in a huge home-made trailer hauled by a bike. This is the only way to get near a stadium located in the Mount Royal Park where no cars are allowed.
