2014 is still the target date, but they won't be the Rough Riders. Apparently, the jerks that wear Green will exercise their right to veto the name.

I've heard that the new name will be Ottawa Ruff Raiders. They'll have a tough dog logo. If they say it fast enough it sounds like the name they can't use.

No, I think he means the "Friends of Lansdowne Park" Group. Who number only in the couple dozen. While survey showed majority support for this project in the city of Ottawa.

We are waiting the results of the appeal filed by the Friends of Lansdowne Park group. Should be due in a few weeks I think.

There are NIMBY groups like Ottawa's Lansdowne people in lots of countries besides Canada. And as annoying as they can be sometimes, I'd still rather live in a country where citizens can air their grievances to politicians and in front of a judge.

Shouldn't these people just be rounded up and thrown in jail for delaying CFL expansion? We could let them out after the 2014 season begins.
