Why in the world would the Esks release Barnes? He is definitely a receiver the Argos should look at bringing in.

a) i totally beat Will to this story in the other Eskies released thread by like an hour :P

b) word is he had a gentleman's agreement to be released to try and get some NFL workouts... and that he would reciprocate by re-signing with Edmonton if it doesn't work out.
