Hope most of you are taking in the CIS playoffs . some exciting football being played.
This weekend are the various cups for the four divisions.
In the AUS SMU will be playing against Acadia on Acadias home turf.
In the Q, Sherbrooke's Vert et Or will travel to QC to face Lavals Rouge et Or

I believe all the games this week (Nov 10th) are on Sat....... Arranged just so we can take in these games and then the Argos on Sun.
:) the fall can be so much fun.

I missed the OT win by Guelph over Queen's. Do they have the same OT format as the CFL?

I frigging switched channels thinking Queens was going to win and missed a great comeback. I did watch Regina and Sask the other day as well as Mac and Western.

Glad you can get the OUA games out west. Many of the CanWest games I haven't been able to follow on the TV.
Be sure to check out the Q games a well. They are on the French CBC or the SRC.
I was switching back and forth between the Queens/Guelph and the Montreal/ Sherbrooke game ( before heading off to the Mac game) ..... The Montreal game seemed a more intense , tougher game...... But then again that was before the Guelph comeback.

I was at the Montreal game what a meltdown in the last 16 minutes.

McGill did a job holding laval at 19-9 in the first half then reality set in.

I expect another laval win but sherbrooke is a feisty team.

I watched a bit of the Sherbrooke/ Montreal game. The Q has some of the strangest colours in the country.

Canada West is shown on Shaw, which isn't even available here in ON except maybe if you have those packages with 2000 channels.

The CIS site has links to televised games. That's how I saw some of Regina-Saskatchewan.

We get Canada West games because we obviously have Shaw and they are also great for showing some WHL games.

That was a closer game than the score indicated..I tuned in for the 4th quarter and the Carabins were up 24-20. Sherbrooke scored 22 unanswered points to put the game away in virtually last 5-7 minutes. Montreal kept trying to force passes that were'nt there and turned over the ball 3 times in the last quarter...they even muffed or fumbled on the kickoff after the Vert et' Or scored the go ahead TD making it 27-24.

Both Sherbrooke and Montreal put " gray " uniforms in their line up this year. Not sure if this is a fad in the NCAA too .... But wouldn't doubt it. The gray may also be in response to the Rouge et Or "all black "unis.
Guelph has a new line up of 5 different types of uniforms so it will be interesting to see which ones they wear on Sat.

Machoocha was outcoached and outplayed by a no-name coach and self-referred 'no-name' team. big slap in the face for him.
