Born in Toronto but spent almost every day after that for the first 40 years in the Port Credit area of Mississauga. The last almost 10 south of backer@oldclarke in North Cowichan on Vancouver Island where the weather is a sweet sunny 10 today.

Within the next couple years it'll be back to Ontario and somewhere close to Peterborough.

As the handle indicates. Long time troll, I have been reading this board and it's earlier versions for a few years. Finally joined, and glad to do so.

Born in East York, grew up in Scarborough and Markham, been downtown since the Flutie years. first game was 1982 East final.

Welcome aboard downtownfan. Argos sure can use more of your neighbours.

BTW, that 44-7 thrashing of the Kevin Starkey led Ottawa Rough Riders in the '82 Eastern final was awesome.

After 30 years, I still remember that day very fondly, Angelo. A lot of ghosts from the Argos' past were exorcised that day.

I'm somewhat offended Kansas City was not one of the voting options. :)

Currently, east of Kansas City about an hour into Missouri, where Argo Jasper Simmons went to school.

Although I grew up in the Ottawa Valley, I never liked the Rough Riders (not even when I had a girlfriend who had 2 uncles who had played for the Riders), so I became an Argos fan. I have lived in BC since 1984. In 1983 I went to Barbados in November, thinking the Argos would blow their chance in the playoffs like every year after 1952. I was ticked off when I heard the Argos had made the Grey Cup, figuring I would miss their best chance to win the Cup. However, a hour before the game a Canadian and Argo fan at the guesthouse I was staying at asked if I was going to watch the game. I asked where. "At this bar owned by Canadian who has satellite TV (a new technology at the time). So I ended up watching the Argos win 18-17 with 300 Canadians (2/3 Argo fans). Still my best moment as an Argo fan.

jerrym it's cool times like your Grey Cup story that just fall out of the sky sometimes. I watched that game at my cousins and he lived close to St. Mikes Arena at the time. After the game I partied on Yonge St walking from St Clair south through the masses of people and then back. One of the best football memories of my life and up until that point 82 was my first Grey Cup. I've now been to 26 or so.

Born and grew up in Hamilton and moved to Toronto in 1987. Now in the Railside/Junction area for the last 7 years. By being here so long, that is how I know so many Argo fans.

I was born and raised in Oakville until I moved to Waterloo to attend UW. After graduating, I moved back to Oakville until 1994 when I moved to Milton to be closer to work. Unfortunately, the plant in Milton where I worked for 21 years closed in 2010 and I haven't worked since. I declined a transfer to the company's plant in Chatham since the commute to Argo games would have been brutal. I was at UW when I watched the 1982 East Final and Grey Cup game on my roommate's 12" b&w tv. I almost didn't watch that Grey Cup game since I had an essay due the next day. Luckily, my professor gave me a one day extension.

I had Puslinch once and it was very painful. haha. Sorry but some of these town names just kill me. I miss Ontario and all of it's towns and cities.
