Just read on the Argo site and some sweet photos of guy making tackles. Someone else will have to post the link as I've never cared to learn how. haha. One guy played at some tech school I've never heard of. These must be signings from try out camps.

ARGONAUTS.CA STAFFMISSISSAUGA - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that importsDE Kenny Horsley (http://argonauts.ca/roster/show/id/5707), WR Juaquin Iglesias (http://argonauts.ca/roster/show/id/5713), DB Janzen Jackson (http://argonauts.ca/roster/show/id/5709), DE EJ Nduka (http://argonauts.ca/roster/show/id/5711), and OL SirVincent Rogers (http://argonauts.ca/roster/show/id/5705) have all signed contracts with the Club.

That year, he led the Sooners in receptions (74), and receiving yards (1,150), and added 10 touchdowns. Iglesias was eventually drafted by the Chicago Bears in the third round (99th overall) in the 2009 NFL Draft. He has since spent time with the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans of the NFL.

Most recently, he played for the Allen Wranglers of the IFL where he dressed for the final three games of their season, recording 15 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

SirVincent Rogers, who attended the University of Houston, spent five years as the Cougars starting left tackle. While there, he caught five passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns, and won the Arena Bowl championship.

Juaquin Iglesias is a huge talent, big-name receiver, there must have been some external problem keeping him out of the NFL. Man, with him and that guy from Auburn added to Owens, Inman and Durie, we got the makings of some kind of aerial circus this year.

Rich I do remember him being a very good player so I went and did some serching and I think it was just a numbers game thing or wrong place at the wrong time. I couldn't find any bad press. Iglesias can also return kicks. He could be a great find.

With these signings and earlier moves we've brought in quite a few guys to compete for DE, DB/CB, LB, WR, and RB spots, which is great. Hopefully we'll find some DT candidates soon, unless we're planning to emphasize 3-4 this year (which I doubt).

Sir Vincent Rogers might be in tough to make the team but you have to hope that he does if for no other reason than his name.

The big question is, what is Ezekwesiri Nduka's middle name? Actually his name is as common as Joe Smith where his family comes from. haha. Notice in the last ten years how many very cool African names are showing up in both the NFL and CFL. Obviously folks who immigrated from African countries to North America are having very athletic kids who do pick up football and very well. I guess it's no different than the Leafs and Kadri. Cool times.

Juaquin Iglesias in particular looks like he could be a great addition to the Argos.

No guarantee these guys will even make to rookie camp and then who knows what will happen when they get here. Maybe I'm a little pessimistic but I just don't want to get overly excited over someone before they even touch foot at camp.

In any case, it's always interesting to see how the new guys do. Hopefully the 2013 class will match 2012.

I love this time of year. I always hope that the Argos uncover a gem of a player. Feels good in some way as a fan that your team develops that star that had been over looked by everyone else. After last year I'm even more excited and have developed a real faith in Barker.

I agree. I remember Dontrelle Inman signing around this time last year and getting a little excited because he had really nice credentials. Sometimes it really does work out. Of course I was also real excited to see Cory Boyd have a great season, and who could have predicted how that situation would play out.
