When he decided not to return to the Argos in 2011, I thought it was because he was done with football and moving onto another career but apparently not. It is too bad he is not still an Argo as I liked him quite a bit.

He must have read "Playing for Pizza", John Grisham's entertaining novel about an NFL washout who winds up playing in the Italian league and loving the food. (it's a fun read. The Argos even factor into it.)

As many already know, Gil Fenerty played in the Italian League before Joining the Argos in '87.

Maybe Ottawa could give him a look next year. He has CFL experience on special teams and could double as a WR.
