Elusive Fan Day

Does anyone here know if and when they announce when Fan Day is going to be. Seems a big mystery every eyar until a couple weeks before they have it. I have family member from out of town that want to go this year because of the Grey Cup win and it would be great to be able to plan ahead.
Maybe if anyone is going to the Town Hall meeting on the Wednesday they can find out. I would love to go as I did last year, but my summer hockey starst the same night. I'll miss my hockey for a football game but not that.

I don't recall them ever having announced it this early. Last year it was the Saturday after the home pre-season game, which was played on June 19. That home pre-season date is June 20, which makes the logical date for the Fan Day as Saturday, June 22 or Sunday, June 23.

I have no idea when "Elusive Fan day" is, but if the management is serious,

about increasing the amount of season ticket holders, and walk-up fans,

then they should hire a crew to scoop up elusive fans everyday of the year,

instead of just on Elusive Fan Day.


They may wish to begin, well, if not with homeless people,

then at least with people who haven't been able to make it to their front door.


People on the porch, people on the first steps; people with their hand

in the door, but still passed out before they walk (or crawl) in.



It just so happens, that many people who drink this much,

seem to really enjoy Football.


Or maybe it's just me.


In any case, I believe it is a good start.
