Mr. Peter Worthington (1927-2013)

From what I've read recently, Mr. Peter Worthington had a sweatshirt with that number on it,

and as a member of the first Canadian News Bureau in Moscow, he played hockey,

as a member of the Canadian News/Embassy Team, against the Russians, wearing

that number, just to piss them off.


He recalled that they tried to body-check him more, because he wore 007.




A great man has left us.



A Soldier, and later an Officer; a Leader of Men, a Journalist, a Husband, a Father.


Whether you shared his views or not, he was irrepressible.
