Not only did they lose but Calvillo will undergo testing today after suffering from what is suspected to be a concussion against the Roughriders on Saturday (http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=430078) with the results being known on Tuesday.


According to the Alouettes, also scheduled to visit the doctor's office are linebackers Bryn Roy (knee), Jonathan Beaulieu-Richard (ankle) and Kyries Hebert (knee), long-snapper Martin Bedard (shoulder), tackle Josh Bourke (knee), safety Mike Edem (shoulder) and receiver Brandon London (head).

a win would have made it all better but on such a short week even if AC's injury isn't deemed serious i doubt he would start the next game.

the real question is for september 3rd and the rest of the season.

AC should have retired with Trestman's departure.

Can't say I blame him for coming back though. If I had $450K waiting for me, I'd come back for one more year as well.

with the season he had in 2012 he deserved another year. even without trestman he could finish with 3,000 yards + if he can play all the remaining games which is decent for a final year.

Calvillo did not look like he wanted to play this year and that attitude seemed to drift to the rest of the team. Tanner Marsh has breathed new life into the Als.

the 9 game included the last one in toronto so technically he could return for the finale nov. 1. or sooner if Jim so chooses. In the meantime AC can quietly collect his well-earned checks for his 16 year contribution to the franchise.
