One of my favorite shows Chuck just ended its run on NBC. It goes without saying that The Office isn't what it once was, in fact I couldn't make it through two minutes of yesterday's episode before I shut it off. I watch NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles a little but, but I started to get a little tired of the Los Angeles version because I swear that not once has the end of an episode resulted in the suspect being brought into custody. It usually ends up with the main villain in a body bag. I guess my favorite show currently is Boardwalk Empire. Who doesn't enjoy a prohibition-era gangster show?

As for favourite shows: Coronation Street, Weeds, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, How I met your Mother, The Big Bang Theory come to mind off the top of my head...

The writers' are anticipating everyone viewing the final scene with optimism rather than pessimism. I implied from the final scene that Chuck and Sarah were more likely to live happier ever after rather than not, but I still would've preferred some sort of definitive indication.

Don't really watch dramas but I do watch reality shows on collectables like Storage Wars, American Pickers, Pawn Stars even though they are scripted. Also political comedies like This hour has 22 minutes and the Rick Mercer report.

I guess two of my favourite comedies airing now are It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I probably watch more comedy on television than any other episodic television. I'm big on sketch comedy like Mr. Show, Kids In The Hall, and obviously Monty Python. Speaking of Brits, I'm a big Steve Coogan fan, and like many of the projects he's been involved with.

And based on my avatar, you can assume there's another show I'm kinda fond of.

I like Big Bang Theory, but the character of Amy Farrah-Fowler is starting to annoy the hell out of me.

I also enjoy Star Trek, but contrary to many people I am a fan of Deep Space Nine over The Next Generation. I like the way that DS9 presented the universe as a more darker and grittier place even if it conflicted with Roddenberry's vision.

I love Lizard Lick Towing, Repo Games, and Operation Repo....

My girl likes all those "fat guy shows", like Biggest Loser, X-weighted, Too fat for 15, etc...oh and the show WITH the Fat lady.."til debt do us part"...

BUT...i watch an episode of MAGNUM PI..each night..(its the 2nd BEST series EVER)...(have all 8 seasons on dvd)

The BEST tv show EVER....Baa Baa Black Sheep...with Robert Conrad as Greg "Pappy" Boyington...

The Coolest character EVER on TV was Pappy Boyington....a close second..Captian Kirk

Yes, I did like the ending. BTW, did you catch that the last episode was like a mirror image of the first one ever?

How can I forget Game of Thrones! Yes as well Being Human has the 4th season starting soon. I have seen the other 3. I have Sons of Anarchy S01, but haven't watched it yet. Finally, IT Crowd (UK)

OOOOH, Breaking Bad is killer. Great watching that then heading to bed. haha. Curb Your Enthusiasm is funny as hell. Mike and Molly is as funny as it gets for new shows along with Whitney and Modern Family are also good.

I however love Cops, The First 48 my total favorite show. I'm a sucker for any and all of the Jail shows like Jail, Locked Up Abroad etc. Any real deal shows like these.
DDD, You Gotta Eat Here also are killer. Other great shows on The Food Network. We're foodies who love to cook all sorts of ethnic foods.

Favorite old show from when I was a kid has to be Wild Wild West. Rat Patrol also rocked. Lately we've been watching That Girl. My wife is eleven years younger so although she knows many of the older shows some she is just missed out on.

Honestly I've missed a bunch and could go on and on. Back on here because I forgot Canadian and American Pickers, Bait Car, oh the list goes on. SNL. The Comedy Network Roasts. Holy crap they are a blast.

I watch a ton of tv and love it!

Is that a show about Bikers? Like a series? I love the reality series about bike gangs. I like all the stuff about the underground world that I know little about, jail, cops, gangs. Cool shite to watch that I want no part of in my life.

A show that could have led to world peace if it lasted longer, and probably the best theme song ever from a Saturday morning kids show.

Masterpiece Theatre.

Nature.

Klingons Gone Wild.

Highlander: The Series (now on re-runs)

Those Quebec-French guys with their cooking show, where they hunt/fish, then drink, and then cook.

Survivorman.

Adventures of a Call-Girl, or whatever it is called.

Argonaut Football.

The Military Channel.

Anthony Bourdain : No Reservations.

Meteorite Men ... but only when they're drinking.

TLN : The Latino Channel ... before 5am ... then they switch from porn to cartoons....

I also totally like, like, documentaries.

Personally, I'm really just into winter hiking (though I like to go up and down small hills and ravines -- for the exercise), but I like the same spectacular views, the same stars at night, the same spirit of adventure, the same adrenaline (well, somewhat), and the same fun that all of us do, who appreciate the outdoors.

These guys and gals are the real deal; me, I just like similar rewards, without the similar strains.

I make no apology for that; like 1argoholic, I am closer to Fifty than to Forty.

I want the view, I want the excitement. I did work at erecting structural scaffolding for Rock 'n' Roll shows in my Twenties; it was fun, and we were tied off most of the time. Except when we were climbing. Whatever, I had my share of adrenaline. Actually, it was quite easy --- at least no one was shooting at us. Unlike our friends and family who were and are stationed in recent combat zones.

Anyway, here's a very cool documentary :

Also, as per my Hard Rock specialties, I would suggest, that one might wish to crank the music,
whether with headphones, or with other forms of embellishment.

No Reservations is great and I'd like to party with Anthony Bourdain. Haven't seen the show in a while. Not sure what station it's on now.

Oh man loved HR Puff N Stuff and Banana Splits as a kid. Tell me heavy pot wasn't smoked by the creators of these shows. Another classic was The Hillarious House Of Frightenstein or something like that. It was that one Canadian actor Billy something that played most of the characters. Last I saw of that show was at 3 am at a Victoria hotel after my wife I went to see some bands. I was hammered and so excited to see this show again.

I LOVED Gumby and Pokey. I have a Gumby that sits in the pocket of my Argoholic coveralls. I also have a black T that has a glow in the dark Gumby. Always a hit when I break that t out. haha.

Age wise im in the same boat...but my wife is 22...so i need to "strain" just to keep up...hahaha...

AND..Back to TV...she agree's with me that Magnum PI is one of the best TV shows ever, last night we watched the episode with Frank Sinatra...its a classic.

Hey Midnight..if your ever in BC theres this place she took me for a hike, Grouse point , or peak , or something like that...its a wild hike to the top.

I climbed it, its a money grab gotta pay to take the gondola down unless you want to collapse. Wasn't that bad except I was hot, sweaty and dehydrated. There are people who run up every week and I even seen people turn back at the 1/3 point.

Netflix has it. I think Netflix is a great value at $8/month. Usually you won't find any current show there but there is a ton of old stuff, and if - like me - you dropped cable because it just isn't worth it, Netflix will always have something interesting to watch.

Also available for purchase in iTunes. Between Netflix and iTunes and over-the-air-HDTV, I'm pretty much set for television. Except TSN! I wish I could pay TSN and stream the channel all the time. They occasionally stream hockey or CFL games and when they do, the quality is outstanding. TSN, are you listening? I'd pay money for this, but I don't want 200 other cable channels.

Let me put in another plug for "The Walking Dead." It's a zombie drama, and ordinarily I'd hate that, but I'm totally addicted. There's been some sort of unexplained zombie apocalypse and the show follows some survivors in Georgia as society breaks down all around them.

And Gerry Dee's new CBC comedy "Mr. D", about a completely inept teacher, is terrific. Season just ended but you can watch it online here. (http://www.cbc.ca/mrd) Best Canadian comedy since Corner Gas.

Seeing as this as a football forum, I'm a bit surprised nobody has mentioned The League yet. I just finished watching the first season, and it's the funniest show I've discovered in a while. Knowing previously that Paul Sheer was in the cast, I'd been meaning to check the show out for quite a long time.

New list for me now, why did so many good shows have to end.

Downton Abbey (final season), Bob's Burgers, Game of Thrones, Les Revenants, Broadchurch, Modern Family, Vikings, Archer (Final season in 2016), Banshee (Final season in 2016) and Orphan Black.

Have seen a few episodes of Blindspot, The Bastard Executioner, Bloodline and Daredevil, but haven't been able to get hooked on them. TBX is intriguing, though not for everyone.
I also want to check out, The Man in the High Castle, Narcos, The Shannara Chronicles, Into the Badlands, The Path, From Darkness, Westworld, The Last Kingdom, Turn, The Fall, and Black Sails.
