Argo Fans Meet Up on Saturday February 11th 2012 at 4:00pm

Lamport Stadium is booked solid on Saturday February 11th 2012 but we would still like to go ahead with the get together that day and try to plan a football game/get together or BBQ in May. Becca and i dressed for the occasion..her in a BC Lions shirt, me in my Argo Jersey...we left early enough to catch the 1:55 train from Ajax to the Exhibition...our plan was to arrive at the pub by 3ish. All was good up to that point. An annoucement that the train is going to be 15 min's late...no worries...but it was kinda chilly on the platform. then about an hour later....another announcement..the train has just LEFT whitby station???WTF???....so...now the train limps towards the Ajax platform. We get on, and theres an announcement....the train is broken, engine issues..its now after 3 pm..they tell us a new train is coming shortly...SCREW THAT...we were cold and pissed off, as both of us were looking forward to the meet and greet...it got worse, we decided to catch a movie since we were out...she had been wanting to see "Grey"...and guess what..it wasnt able to be shown at the Ajax Cineplex due to "technical difficulties..and the other movie we were interested in "Chronicle" wasnt playing at the Ajax theater...GRRRRRR...anyways, i hope those who made it had a good time, ....lets plan another,

No, just me. I just saw that post and didn't investigate any further. My bad. I tend to forget previous posts and usually just look at newer posts.
