Jim Lang leaves FAN 590 morning show

Lang used to be a big fan of the CFL but really seemed to change under the Rogers banner. It will be interesting to see which direction he goes in. As long as he is employed by Rogers though, he will have little time for the league that he coined this saying for: "Give me the CFL or give me death!"

You've got that right. As annoying as Lang can be sometimes, at least he is not the arrogant SOB that Marsha Brady's brother is. Once again..I am very thankful that TSN radio started up.

Once again..I am very thankful that TSN radio started up.Agree, I find Brady nauseating to listen to and immediately switch the dial...when it comes to Sports radio morning shows...Mike Richards beats these guys hands down.

It's too bad, I actually thought his post-game shows and call-ins that he did briefly when doing the Argo games once upon a time was quite good...As good as the post game shows, if not better than they presently have with all due respect to Hoagie.

I don't think you should ever frown on a potential fan from showing that they're fan...working under the Rogers banner, he was probably kissing you know what...some people have that severe weakness or strength (depending on your point of view) of doing that when it comes to keeping themselves gainfully employed. As annoying and bothersome as that is, he should be welcome as a professional if he wants to work on CFL games or telecasts. Like it or not, his viewpoint is very symptomatic of the view that many Canadians in Southern Ontario have toward the CFL. They like it, but won't admit to liking it and care too much about what Americans (or anyone else for that matter) that don't follow it, think of it.
