Crashing back down to earth is a tough thing. Durant the second coming of Glenn.

Their fan sites are public, you know. There's no reason to speculate.

...and yeah, they aren't happy.

Reading Riders fans bashing their team doesn't interest me.

I love how on Riderfans.com an individual's single comment on the game becomes a whole new thread.

Agreed, Gabe; it's a different world. It would be great if the Argos got more attention, but my ideal would be Edmonton's fan base, not Saskatchewan's.

Are you saying that Saskatchewan's forum is a case of quantity over quality? ;)

Note to Riders' fans: Ravi is criticizing you, not me. Please remember this when you start lighting your torches!

They haven't been the same since the Premier made that video going into the Banjo Bowl....

The torches will merely scorch you; pitch-forks, are a whole other matter....

Perhaps an emergency air-drop of say, 80,000 watermelons, can be dispersed throughout the province, to give then something to fork.

Oh and in case anyone thinks that I'm suggesting Sask fans go fork a watermelon, that is not what I am saying.

Though I'm sure love will find a way.

Some Riders fans have made just that point. Another issue that was raised on riderfans.com today which may have some truth behind it is about the Riders not having the depth that other teams have. They spent a lot of money on a few big name starters this year but as they have started to have some injuries, a lack of depth is showing through.

Their roster still looks pretty good, and I think Kory Sheets' return (next week?) will help a lot. I think they can beat BC when it counts, and possibly Calgary.

It's pretty ugly over there right now. I never follow a Blue Jay or Maple Leaf forum, but for those who do, what is it like after a losing streak?

to be honest, i dont even hate rider fans as much as i hate durant...hes not a good qb, but all these fans seem to think hes someone special...he sucks, the player i hate the most in this league (even kevin glenn is better)

A portion of Riderville is actually starting to turn against him.

You'll see the ultimate in bi-polar fans on a Leafs forum, whether they're winning or not.

Can't blame them if they are. The Riders looked so dominant this year, how do they go from that to losing to Montreal, B.C & the Argos when those teams didn't really have their starting QB's. In some cases those teams had injuries throughout their line-up as well.

Sheets going down is a part of the reason they are struggling but can you really put the entire blame for their slide on that? Could be they just couldn't maintain their level of play & have come down to earth...you could see in some games before this slide that they were a bit fortunate to come away with victories. Still wouldn't count them out because they could very well peak at the right time & head into the playoffs with their game in gear.

I agree on all your points. I don't understand why so many Rider fans are counting their team out at this point either. The Argos were 7-9 after three straight home losses, the last one to Winnipeg, a year ago and did not lose again after that. The Riders are presently 8-5 so they can certainly get this turned back around in the right direction. It is far too early to count them out yet.

Right now the team is on a 4 game slide and there just seems to be no end in sight. Plus the injuries (but every team has injuries and they keep winning!!! Why aren't we?), getting beat by rookie QB's (it is not like we have been blown out! In the last three games we were one play away from winning or tying the game)and the haters and told ya sos are out in full force. Today on Sportscage, Pedersen was saying that during the winning streak there were crickets on the text, tweet and call-ins. Now they number in the hundreds! For what its worth, I have not counted them out, they could get hot again. We just have to quit being on dimensional.

Now watch Durant run and get smoked by Bighill and knocked into last week. Actually I'd like that. Durant the second coming of Khari 'Can't Win Squat' Jones. Durant has receivers that make him look ok.

Go Lions Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Blue Sky is clouding over and creating a fog over Rider Nation after manure has been spread over the fields. Basically it's worse than fungas on the wheat crops.

well so much for that. a little adversity goes a long way. did you already forget what the argos went through last year at this time?

Acquiring Alex Hall for the playoff drive would also cheer me up, if I was a Rider fan.
