I think that it will be a close game that will likely go down to the wire but I believe that Calgary will pull it out.

Sask isn't a great team and Calgary is. Calgary by at least 14. It's hard to have two home town Grey Cup Champions is a row let alone three. Riders fans dreams get crushed against a very solid Calgary team. It'll be a great football weekend in Calgary as the Dinos knock off Western.

Neither are a great CFL team IMO - but the Stumps are at home and have a smarter offence - close game I'll bet but the Stumps pull it off to dash Rider GC at home dreams.

Dinos beat Western ? - maybe i guess but I'd bet on a Western slaughter there.

.

I know I'll regret asking this, but how is a 14-4 team (best in the league) not a great CFL team?

I believe that only Waylon Jennings can answer this question:

You're not considered into the argument of being great until you win the championship.

If you say so.

I love that the Roughriders are perceived to be the underdogs!

Looks like a repeat of last year with the second place teams beating the first place teams.

Of course while I'm sad the Argos didn't make it to the Grey Cup, I'm glad that the Riders fans are finally fulfilling their dream of having Saskatchewan in the Grey Cup game in Regina. Good luck Riders. Beat those pusseycats! Rider Nation deserves it.

It just doesn't matter but I'm cheering for Hamilton. I hate those obnoxious Pil filled boozehound Rider Buttplugs. Way too many knob Rider fans who ruin it for the very few good Rider fans. I won't cheer for a team who's fans yelled Frog and the N word at the Als bench in Calgary the last Grey Cup they were in.Or telling my Stampeder fan father in law that he'd be dead before the Stamps won another cup. Not to mention how we were treated in 96 in Edmonton. Oskie Wee Wee!!! Go Southern Ontario

Too bad that you won't be in that role again next week. The pressure will be square on the Riders on Sunday. Will they be able to withstand it?

We will see, could this rival 1989? I hope so!

Sorry you feel that way argoholic, I have had my run-ins with butt blug NFL fans but I don't paint them all with same brush. Always treat your opponents the way you want to be treated is my mantra.
Regina will be off the hook next week. I feel the need to grab a plane from Victoria!

I think this whole superstition of not touching the division trophy is pretty lame. The Argos celebrated in Montreal and won the GC the following week so there is no curse or trends of touching and not winning.

It would be great to see a game like that. I think that we pretty much have to throw out the two regular season games that these two teams played way back in July as the Ticats are a very different team now. Henry was on fire today so we will if he can duplicate that before the Rider faithful who hate him so much next week.

Yeah, I thought that the Riders were behaving ridiculously there. Touching or not touching that trophy isn't going to have anything to do with what happens next week. Even though i was depressed as hell at the end of today's game, I did appreciate that the Ticats didn't fall for this foolish superstition which has no basis in reality anyway.

Calgary did not come to play today. The excessive amount of turnovers did not help. Riders wanted it more and it showed in their game. I guess in the end it's good for the league not to have the same teams in the Grey Cup every year, however that's small consolation to Argo/Stamps fans.

Hopefully a good Grey cup next week, weather will be a huge advantage for the Riders!!

Hamilton will be in real tough especially with the way Grey Cup was taken hostage by Dash Tours. So many Grey Cup regulars have bailed this year. It'll be very heavy on Green and White in the crowd. Hamilton can only win if they have a strong start and totally shut the fans up. Rider fans live and die with every play. If you notice when the visiting team has a great play the huge Rider crowd goes dead quiet. Hamilton win if they can keep the crowd out of it. Never thought I'd say this but Go Cats Go!!!
I do like the few really nice Rider fans I've met but they are few and far between now.

The Als in 2008 fell for that superstition by not touching the EF trophy but did grab it the next 2 years.

It's going to feel like 2009-10 again in the stands. Cats might want to wait another year and win it in nice cozy bc place
