I was watching one of the Buffalo newscasts yesterday and you really got to feel happy for these people because the Bills mean a whole lot to the people of Western New York. I still dislike the team immensely because of the Flutie-Johnson scenario, but the fact that they are not going to move to Toronto probably makes it easier for me to want to attend a game in Orchard Park on occasion.

What? Move the Argos to North Tonawanda? : )

Maybe they could stage an "Argos in Western NY" series. It might out drawn the "Bills in TO" series.

It might also out draw the Argos in TO.

Well, they would fit in with their 3 alarm blaze of the old training facilities..... and an Argos in Western NY would be able to have a cool tailgate party.

Only problem may be the field size .... Maybe during the Pan Am games?

 .... (there's no tongue in cheek smiley)

Here is a good article about why the series didn't work from one of the few in the sports media who didn't think it would work (Sean Fitz-Gerald): http://sports.nationalpost.com/2014/12/03/biggest-obstacle-to-buffalo-bills-toronto-experiment-might-have-been-sporting-culture-in-canada/

The NFL is still very popular in Toronto but team loyalties are scattered, the Buffalo Bills are not Toronto's team and completely sucked during the series here.
The greedy pricks at Rogers overestimated the demand for Bills football here, add to the fact that the Skydome is a shite football stadium and here we are.
Egg on their faces......beautiful!!!

Sure, but I haven't heard a lot of speculation regarding an NFL in Thunder Bay lately.

Actually I was looking at the population of northern Ontario(Kenora, Thunder Bay, Dryden, etc.)in the hopes that someone with money would do a feasibility study of putting a CFL expansion team there but I think it's a bit too small. Wishful thinking I guess.

The Maritimes could use a team more than anyone ... again wishful thinking.

I'd love to see a team in one of the maritime provinces, that would make it a truly Canadian league coast to coast. I think they would bring incredible energy to the league. Population is definitely the biggest reason it hasn't happened.

I've been to every Touchdown Atlantic ... it's an amazing and exciting vibe ... like a big college game atmosphere. It's too bad that the attendance declined slightly with successive game ... still a higher attendance than an Argo dome game seeing that it is held at U of Monction.

I am with you, 10 teams would be a nice round number as well, would make for a fun road trip!!
