I notice that receiver Darvin Adams has rejoined the team for his 3rd stint while troubled youngster Demarlo Ballard has been released. I hope the team can find another deep threat to compliment the dangerous John Chiles.

As for Adams, I guess that he showed enough in that final regular season game against Montreal where he had his first CFL TD reception to earn another shot in 2014. EDIT: It was DaMarlo Belcher who was released. Ballard was let go a couple of years ago, wasn't he? I don't know what happened to Belcher though.

It was DeMario Ballard from a few years ago, he was released I think 3 times. He just kept coming and going every few months. Perhaps the Argos are having a private mini camp somewhere.

Error on my behalf Gabe, Belcher was deleted a couple days ago. I suspect the Argos were going to have difficulty getting him into Canada due to his past.

This is great news. I watched him closely in that game last season and I think he could be a great one. Beautiful crisp patterns. Athletic and smart. Made a great play to bat away a badly underthrown Harris pass. I'm going to predict a breakout season for him.

And we can't ever lose him, for as far as I know he's still "blacklisted" from the NFL for blowing the whistle on some pro scouting violations when he was in college.

What third stint? Wasn't that his first game appearance last year?

Darvin was released after TC last year. Signed again just prior to the Montreal game, released after that game, then resigned again a couple days ago.

I agree with you, I think he can be a good player for the Argos.
