Now that the Leafs are long gone is anyone still watching. Few things I miss about the west coast. One is watching a double header and it still being only 10 or 10:30 at night. Oh and I HATE Montreal and Boston.

Have to admit I miss the great BC micro brew beer and the great little coffee roasters. Love to have a pound of Cobblehill's Drum Roasters coffee and some of Squamishes Howe Sound Rail Nut Brown Ale. Although Church Key Brewery just outside Campbellford has some great beers. Only thing that'll get me into a church.

No one watching NHL playoffs? Fun to watch how every NHL playoff year unfolds with it's crazy twists and turns. Last year was the year of delay of game, flipping the puck over the glass in your own zone penalties. This year it's teams going ahead such as in the Pitt series and then losing. Each game has had either Pitt or Columbus having 3-1 leads and then then losing 4-3.

I'll be watching less Leafs next year as we got Petes seasons to support the local team and get some involvement into our new community. Hard to believe it's been eight months since our escape from Duncan BC. Never been happier and I haven't even started landscaping yet. Great to be back in Southern Ontario. Lakers season first.

All the sheep (Leaf fans) aren't watching because their crappy team isn't in it.
Why are you watching?

I've been watching here and there. Have to agree with you about hating the Habs and Bruins...and I'll add the Flyers to that list.

I have a Habs fan and a Bruins fan in the household ..... I think I will have perfect YouTube cannon fodder when these two meet in the playoffs. Hilarious watching the two of them as well as the game. ( I never seem to side with the Ticat fan tho)

Love watching The Blackhawks and Montreal and Boston will be killer. Nice to watch quality hockey and not really care about the outcome. The regular season can be so boring at times but the playoffs get kicked up.

Montreal and Boston, it'll be fun!!! I'm a hockey fan and NHL playoff hockey kicks arse. Perhaps before I die the Leafs can make a real solid run. I hope to live to 120.

There's quality NHL hockey? Ok, just kidding, but have been watching; No. Haven't watched in years. But I have shelved my anti Montreal Canadiens sentiments that I have held ever since I did start watching and caring. Montreal ruined Gary Bettman's perfect NHL playoffs by being the only Canadian team to make it, so I hope they go all the way and really stick it to that tool.
The hockey playoffs I have been watching (or that is trying to watch) have been the OHL. It still fries my bacon to extra crispy that I can watch every point scored in that bloody march madness, but can barely watch a single period of CHL/OHL playoffs in my own country. Anyway, good luck to North Bay. Really happy to see the Battalion in a city that cares and I'm sure North Bay is besides themselves with excitement, at least a lot more then Brampton/GTA ever would have been. I just wish they had changed that horrible team name to something that reflects North Bay or northern Ontario a bit more.

Still love the old North Bay Trappers. We'll be watching fewer Leaf loses with Petes seasons for next year. CHL is fun hockey.

Crazy fun hockey last night with game 7 between Chicago and LA. Fun watching good hockey and not the Leafs.

Hockey playoffs??? It's June for crying out loud. Hockey is long past it's best before date. Pass the sun screen please.

That is my biggest problem. I love hockey and especially playoff hockey, where teams check the goons at the door, but the NHL really needs to do something to end the season in May. Even if it means starting the season the last week of September instead of around October 10.

Yes, June hockey is ridiculous. The playoffs this season have featured some pretty decent hockey but it is hard to get into it beyond May 31st.

Rangers-Kings for the first time in a final. NY-LA finals used to be a baseball affair.

Game 7 would fall on Marty St-Louis' 39th birthday. Would be sweet to see him win another.

A NY/LA final has to be Gary Bettman's dream.

Still watching but it's really starting to drag now. Should be a game tonight but it wouldn't be Hockey Night In Canada/LA tonight.
Still strange to see CBC getting a bunch of American fans all excited to yell,"You're Watching Hockey Night In Canada."

The season is finally over!

The Rangers will forever regret not winning at least one of the first two games.

They were three OT goals from winning the Cup themselves and they had lots of chances to win at least two of those OT games.

it was probably the closest, and most exciting 5 game series ever....

felt bad for the rangers, but stopping the kings...kinda like stopping a steam roller, they just keep coming forward

That overtime in the final game was some of the craziest hockey ever. Fun stuff.

I watched some of the Ducks/Blackhawks game inbetween lacrosse last night. By the way Go Rock Go what a 10 minute tiebreaker game last night.

Anyhow I totally forgot about the Ranger and Lightning game the other night. I have watched the first two Memorial Cup games.
