Interesting thread from D's site. IMO, you can hardly accuse a team like Montreal whose offense is still very much a work in progress of trying to run up the score.

Well, they aren't getting much sympathy from their own fans on this one. It truly is one of the most ridiculous claims that I have read in some time.

The Argos tried to run up the score on the Riders by encouraging Molden to run all the way to the end zone with his INT.

Even more laughable was good ole Wally air-lifting in some import OT and handing him the starting job after a day or two in camp - guy was a pylon - and looked very good on Wally; agreed - Glenn is way over-rated and they are going nowhere with the idiots in charge there having such great faith in him as the starter; better off giving the reigns to John Beck IMO; plus they have zero faith in a ground game with 2 excellent RBs (Harris & Logan) at their disposal = total mess of an offence. A few very good players on D though, at least.

Speaking of lions lineman, how many years is it going to take them to realize that Dean Valli just is not a starting o-lineman?

Yeah - not sure Valli is much at all as a starting O-Lineman; some Lionbackers. fans do defend him as a decent run blocker, however ?

I finally just watched TSN's Top 50 CFLers and IMO there are far too many Lions on the list and too many rated too highly. In other words, I think that this is very much an overrated team. I suspect we will see far fewer Lions on the list a year from now.

Lists like that are generally irrelevant in a team sport. I don't even pay attention to them.
