Deal still needs to be approved, as well as a sign new arena deal (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/report-phoenix-coyotes-sale-nearly-complete-greg-jamison-143756163.html;_ylt=AtXMLQmOod1w7HPG72FEmJmRbcp_;_ ylu=X3oDMTFja3NwYTFmBG1pdANCbG9ncyBJbmRleARwb3MDMQ RzZWMDTWVkaWFCbG9nSW5kZXhUZW1w;_ylg=X3oDMTFvcGs0cn BnBGludGwDdXMEbGFuZwNlbi11cwRwc3RhaWQDBHBzdGNhdANi bG9nBHB0A3NlY3Rpb25zBHRlc3QD;_ylv=3). IMO had the Coyotes built the arena in Scottsdale, would have been better for the organization and "fan base", and the team most likely would have lost less money year to year. Jamison seemed to turn San Jose around, so obviously he's the guy that the NHL wants owning the Yotes.

Regardless of where they play, I hope people actually give them some attention and pay to attend their games.

It has to be admitted that Bettman doesn't look too bad now for not allowing Jim Balsillie into the NHL lodge.

Why should I believe this deal won't collapse like all the others?

Not until the questions about the future of the Coyotes franchise end and a deal to keep them in Phoenix doesn't constitute that in my book.

Part of me would like to see them win the Stanley Cup for their loyal fans.
