Ralph the Program Guy

I just found out that Ralphael "Ralph" Platner has passed away due to the same illness that made him miss most of the 2014 Jays season.

He also did Argos games back when they had their own programs and he would be the one I would only buy from. You have probably seen him around.

Sad news indeed Gabe.
I remember him working the Argonaut games in the early 1980's dutifully selling programs at every game.
Always had a T-Shirt on no matter what the weather at the old Ex and truly seemed to love what he was doing.
We should all be so lucky!!

Incredible to hear that he was 67. That man kept himself in great shape. We used to jokingly call him Jerry, because he looked like a young Jerry Lewis. He always acknowledged us. Sad to hear of his passing.
