Most of the sons seem to end up playing hockey rather than football. Willard Reaves' son plays for the Blues and Richard Nurse's son will be an Oiler before long.

Grover Covington's son will enter the NFL draft a year early despite having season ending surgery. Elfrid Payton Jr. plays in the NBA. It's nice to see the next generation especially at the local level like in argoholic's case.

Toronto Maple Leafs fans have had the pleasure of watching former Calgary Stampeders QB Phil Kessel's son, Phil Jr., play for their team for the past few seasons.

Zack Nastasiuk got two or three points against the Petes last night. He's the Owen Sound captain and a very hard working player. Petes lost yet again.

I know JP Izquierdo's son is a great rb with what looks like a solid future and he plays football at St Francis in Calgary where three of our nieces went. One still attends. TSN had a segment on him a while back.

Nurse's son was on the World Jrs and we saw his Greyhounds smoke the Petes. He's a big rushing defencemen who covers the ice like a blanket. Seeing him play up close was fun.
