Seattle Coach Carroll takes the blame for calling the slant pattern from the one foot line. I guess if it had worked everyone would be saying what a smart call it was. However 2nd down with a time out left and a big Bull of a RB like Lynch you got to go with a quick hitter off Tackle IMO. That play will haunt the Seahawks all off season.

He then stated that they would throw and if it worked, great, if not, fine waste the play and line up for third down. If that's the case, why not waste the down protecting the football and handing it off?

It was a goal line stand. What kind of formation was he thinking the Pats were going to go with? Plus doesn't the QB get some of the blame as well?

Wilson himself - and rightfully so - took blame for the throw.

They have a very odd but great rb who is a beast and you run that stupid play.

Even a good Super Bowl seems just so bloody slow between the long commercial breaks and just the crap rules of the NFL game. To me some of the most exciting plays in football are on punt and kickoff returns and the NFL has virtually taken them out of their game. Just make it a touch league already.

Glad Michigan alum Brady won it.

Seattle tried to get too cute and they paid for it, commercial breaks and halftime make for a 3 1/2 hour marathon glad it's over, roll on June!!

Many things could have happened on that play but it was a great pick. The db even turned his body to block the receiver in a very great bang..bang play. Still a stupid call with Mr Skittles in the backfield.
