Just an FYI to the membership as some would have interacted with Third Down at Total CFL and 13thman.com among others. He was sadly the victim of a physical assault motivated by homophobia in Vancouver in March 2009. He spent some time in a coma and had been living in care facilities since that time.

I don't remember him distinctly from 13thman, but understand that he was quite the personality on there.

It was/is a terrible story and I'm sad to read that he never recovered.

Just found this post. Totally remember this all over the news while living in BC. Scums like the guys who beat him up should rot in jail but this is Canada and we have way too many bleeding hearts so they must be out on the streets by now. Most likely stoned like 80% of BCers.
