Those are fan made, someone took the Nike combat series and re-designed it for the CFL.

I've understood for quite awhile that each team was getting new jerseys for the upcoming season. A Ti-Cat fan friend of mine said that someone he spoke to at the Ti-Cat store in Hamilton said they'd be introduced before training camp.

I don't know about the rest of the league, but I was told the Argos are going to new jerseys for 2012.

Can we please go back to the style of uniforms from the 1970s and 1980s for all teams? The NFL seems to be going with the retro look now when you look at the likes of the Bills and Giants and the NHL seems to be heading that way to some degree as well (e.g. the Flames' home uniforms, the Sabres, I saw the Kings wearing some smart looking '70s uniforms recently). Maybe I am wrong but I believe that these are the looks which fans want. The boat logo must come back for the Argos. BTW, I have been under the impression that everyone would have new uniforms this year.

My thoughts on this are well known to some forum members, but I'll reiterate although at this point I'm sure the designs are all finished so it's too late to sway RBK or the CFL.

1. Both light blue and dark blue need to be featured on the unis. Current ones have almost no light blue -- very thin striping on the jerseys is not nearly enough of the second blue in Double Blue.
2. Bring back the 1977-88 boat as primary or at least secondary logo. But I would not object to updating the 1995-2004 gladiator logo by substituting light blue for the execrable "slate green."
3. Contrast contrast contrast: home unis dark blue jerseys with white pants, road unis white jerseys with dark blue pants. Never, ever again wear same colour top and bottom.
4. Road jerseys should have light blue numbers with dark blue piping, a la the classic 1977-79 look.
5. Most recent pant stripes should be retained, but an interesting varation would be to use the same basic look but add the round "shields" that were incorporated into the pant stripes from 1996-2004.
6. White face bar, and please restore striping to the top of the helmet (which, it goes without saying, should remain dark blue).
7. No black anywhere in the uni.
