Love the fact that expansion is being talked about again and that Edmonton is one of the cities on the forefront. Personally, I would much rather see the Rush back in Edmonton and Saskatchewan to just get an expansion team, owned and operated by the Roughriders. Ottawa and somewhere in Pennsylvania have been brought up during the off season as well. Sakiewicz has a lot to learn and a lot of work to do, but I like the energy he has brought so far.

I's love to see a franchise in Ottawa, but it would be tough to go against the Senators and the 67s in winter.

Edmonton should get another team if they can find a place to play.
It's unfortunate that The Rush had to leave after winning their first championship, especially since that team is set to be top tier for a few seasons. To be honest though, I like the Saskatchewan colours better than the Edmonton colours for the Rush.

Ottawa and Montreal are two cities I think the NLL should overlook, Ottawa is pretty crowded as is and unless OSEG were to own the team I doubt it would last long. Montreal doesn't have the history (they had the express for a season, but that's it and the lacrosse market there is fractured at best) or the care to make it work IMO. As for Edmonton, the Katz Group tried multiple times to buy the Rush, but there were a lot of issues between Urban and the Katz Group. It's been speculated that the Katz Group has already spoken to the NLL about an expansion team and could see one as early as 2017 or 2018. I hope Saskatchewan works, I really do, just don't have much faith in it.

I know it's only one season, but I'm happy to have been proven wrong on this, and hopefully Edmonton can get an expansion team for their new arena.
