Four more years of intense anger on the sidelines. Yay!

Four more years of me getting to (poorly) mimic that intense anger on the sidelines. Yay! :)

He looks happy in the offseason. The Argos have a little payback in store for him in 2016. That should wipe that grin from his puss.

Supposedly he had interest from both the NFL and NCAA but wasn't interested. Glad to see him more committed to his current job than he was in Saskatchewan.

I wonder who Austin will "bump into" this season......

Well I'm surprised, even more surprised to hear that it's a 4 year extension, I honestly thought Austin would have left the first chance he got. Can't deny that this is huge for the Ticats, they've been annual Grey Cup contenders since Austin arrived, if Collaros can stay healthy, I expect that to continue.

You would have to think that Austin signed for at least if not more than the Jones type contract in Regina.

I'm betting it's a little bit less. Home team discount.

They've got a stable and good owner ... makes all the difference in the world.

I'm surprised Austin has had such long success as a coach. By that, I mean players responding to him. He can be such a dink/ass/jerk, or likewise other synonym. Usually that act wears thin. I realize that he might treat his own players differently from everyone else, but true personality eventually comes through.

You're right, that act can wear thin. He's never had more than 3 years as a coach on any team (Cornell and now Hamilton), so we'll see how things progress for him.

Maybe he has decided to put down roots.
Being paid close to $750k also helps.

I agree he's an arrogant jerk, but he's also one of the savviest head coaches in the CFL in the last two decades.

One of the biggest jackasses in sports. I'd like to see Jim Barker beat the crap out of him.
