Nice. Can't help but wonder if we will see a lot of 3-4 looks getting both he and Miles on the field together.

Here's hoping he can stay healthy for the next few years.

Stubler use to run a 3-4 when he was here the last time. That is how he got Kevin Eiben onto the field full-time. Maybe they do that if they lose Cummings, Laing and Okpalaugo. They better sign at least one of those three.

Good. But not as high as a priority after the emergence of Miles.

I agree. A healthy Greenwood would be a big plus and gives the Argos lots of National depth on defence.

Bravo, JB! Now get Harris and one of the three d-linemen (probably TO because I doubt we can re-sign EC or CL) and we can roll into free agency with a degree of comfort.

Yeah - I wonder like AV if Stubler would entertain a 3-4 as his base defence or even part-time ? Is it his say or would the HC & GM have to approve?

Jones & Miles inside with Greenwood at one OLB spot and maybe a real good cover tweener type at the other OLB ... might work well; but it still helps to have a real solid DT in the middle, plus good pass rushing DEs. I like variety in football and I don't see why a sharp DC could not mix in both standard 4-3, with some 3-4 looks, and Jones, Greenwood & Miles in place = should be able to play a 3-4. Jones going to get some attention from some other teams though? - Riders don't have a MLB in place, and the Bummers could use an upgrade too; and Sherritt might flee the Esks.

Great news, just hope he can stay healthy. I always thought that if Greenwood had come to the Argos right out of University, we could be talking about him in the same vein as Mike O'Shea. But you can't blame him for going for the NFL paychecks. Nice little start to life after University.

My guess is that Stubler pretty much has carte blanche with the defence, OV.

Love to have him back.
Can't help to think what a poster recently said how Greenwood for the good of his health based on the number of concussions should retire?

Though one is one too many, I'd certainly be retiring from the occupation that had provided me with a second concussion: i.e., there wouldn't be a third...

OVA, what do your sources say Greenwood's contract is worth annually?

The guy hits like a truck so hopefully he can stay healthy. Like a Chevy 2500 HD not a Ford or Dodge. They'd crumble.

LOL !

I would guess more than CFL minimum ... and a lot less than the NFL minimum he got paid down there.

My "sources" have dried up.

Anyhow - I don't really know / don't really care - wether he's making 20 or 30 K more or less than somebody else on the Argos or another linebacker in the league. I prefer watching and commenting on actual play from the football field.
