Would have been a great line up for a Can-Am Bowl game. All they would need is a QB. I guess Buckley out of Calgary could have been one, before he resigned with the Stampeders.

Yeah - more Canadian talent overall now compared to those days IMO; and that Canadian team at least hung in there for those games.

I believe you easily put together a good Div I US college ball team from just an all-star team of CIS talent; give them access to all the top Canadians playing US college ball to add to that team = a very good team that could challenge for top 10, IMO.
